wrong... ask blue about a list that he got already many months ago...

What I read, was that the one who worked on it quit, and it was near impossible to duplicate/find the work.
Also a lot of ra's (especially class only RA's), lacked proper documentation.

Now I seem to remember you being active in bugreports, and know what proper documentation is, so wont even try to lecture on that. But I assume one of Blue's top 3 wishlist, would be for Uthgard to get old RA's, as that would be a giant leap towards making the server very "classicly". So if he has proper documentation for old RA's, I'm 100% certain he's spending time trying to figure out how to make it into coding and implement it.

My. God. The. Whining!

There are plenty of good templates without the +all. And for new players, just grind the cash like everyone else. Not as if it was easy to start as a new player back in the days and get instant cash to your template. It took time, and effort!

Uthgard staff - gogogo!
Inzhaine - Shaman
Birkel - Savage
Blackbighands - SM

Why? Templates are capped now - and SI doesnt give any new like +cast speed or whatever
Future templates will be easier with better SI jewlry.. thats all.

That would have been the only correct way - now, old players got an advantage over new players

Like dragonfly. They should have not be removed before the launch of Uthgard-SI, since the dragonfly compensate the lack of TP to avalon marsh (and equivalent zones on other realms).

Well, i think that answer would be

The majority of time flows into bugfixing and testing stuff on live servers. THAT takes most of the time.

Of course. On my cab, I don't even have a Tajendi cloak, no overcharge on staff and still cap everything. This all focus stone missing hurts me since i will have to rearrange gems to include a looted staff, but i will handle it.
Anyway, this change is a non sense. It makes the crafted staff useless for mage. No mage will now use a crafted staff since there's no more all focus gem. It will reduce the activity of Fletcher, of Spellcrafter, reduce the trading interaction in community for more farming.
This was a mistake to not introduce this gems in game in the same time they add this bonus on loot. They fix it in 1.72, too late for us... and not considered as a mistake by Blue. Surprising.

Jewelry didnt need repairs on live, the magic still worked when they was on 70% con, except for skill stats. So all jewelry without any skill stats should stay untouched by the repair fix.

Well, so you just need a new dragon ring occasionally :-)

Sure its the correct but in no way a good way. Crashing existing templates would have caused a lot more spam in forums.

Please use google search. And yes lack of testability and missing informations is the major issue.

Old RA's have nothing to do with the recent crafting fix. If this is still not clear we move the target to 1.70 and are done with old RA.

You can still use the items that has +Skill, only the +Skill will not work at 70% condition. So you can just overcap those skills if you want to bypass that rule. Mind, other items on that item will still work.

I'm just afraid it will be improperly implemented and items will decay at much faster rates than they did on live (Which, I don't recall ever having anything die on me before finding something better or replacing.)

You can put 2 focus gems in one staff, and with SI jewelry comming, templates will be easier than ever to make.

Granted, dropped staffs will still be preffed for casters, but that is very live-like :P

Why you think that? There went many hours into researching this over the last years. The only issue which can happen is incorrect item material setting (in this case we will reset the durability to the correct amount).

well so someone lied to me, when he was telling me, you received a list about end/beginning of 2012/2013

rumour has it, that there's hope for OF RAs: some brave contributer seems to have found the holy grail of classic-daoc-implementation

(was in a official thread)

i will not quote what i wrote with that person, since they were *private*messages...
anyway you should already know what im talking about, do you?

It's just a gut feeling, I have things I'd consider priceless and irreplaceable that I could not bear to let go. (My Vest and Woodsman Hat) :/
