Let me start out first by saying thank you to all those who have indulged my noob questions/threads so far and hopefully I do not offend people by asking a potentially repetitive question.

I have reached 48, respecced into my ideal RvR spec (@50) 36 slash/42 shield/50DW/rest parry. I am currently still using my old 40 temp that had +crush skills on it, so my added slash skills for my set aren't good at all. I just hit 3L0 in thid today after an awesome day of RPs. I have roughly 4P300G at the moment, and with the help of my amazing guild leader and friend within the community who took me under his wing and helped me out with templates, builds, and my constant noobish questions I have built what he and I think to be a reasonably good template for my merc.

I am here because I would love to know of a great spot to make money (possibly low hp + slash weakness?) I have been advised that barrows is the best place to farm and make cash as a solo grinder, on top of doing dragon/legion and selling off drops. I am not a salvager, so I would be relient on taking what I find to another salvager to have them salvage + trinket which would then create more dependency on other people to make money.

I do plan to level up AC in the future, but I feel like getting a temp/SC'd set so I can effectively RvR and PvE is a bigger priority, but if this would overall help to save time and/or money then I would love to hear insight.

Thanks for all feedback! If anybody wants to do GK/Taj1/Diamond Farming/Money farming/RvR/Anything! then please give me a /send @ Falkn. Thanks for reading and if this has been covered elsewhere please point me in that direction to save the repetitive nature of my post.

Reaver >> Merc - at least for PVE, so you wont get invited to pve raids often. So, you either have to organize some yourself or go dia farm - thats where not so "op" setups are taken quite often.

I would take care not to hit 50 before capping thid - so better focus now on thid and maybe some not xp-intensive raids (like gk, dragon or whatever)..... hitting 50 without capping thid is a kind of stigma here on server and brings some negatives along for grp search in later rvr.

The other thing - you ll never make that easy rps again - like you do now in thid.

As you said u have a very nice guild, try to farm something with em.

Also, you did not say how much more money you need for your template.

I recently started playing my poor lonely merc again after he was sitting naked in guild house for a year doing nothing. I did same spec as you.

Merc isn't the best raid toon but you can solo farm if you must. Find some slash weak mobs or maybe farm mobs in Llyn for staffs/metal drops.

DF seals will always be your best bet for quick money. Sell for 10-13g a pop or salvage for 14.9 per. You could start your own Diamond farming group. Merc + Pally + Theu. Get 100 diamond seals at hulks with minimal effort.
There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla.

These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

The cost of the rest of my set can vary, depending on if I spend money or actually get lucky on the drops, but I have a few MP pieces of crafted armor and slasher weapons... I think total coast of weapons + armor will be 17P. Farming accessories, but the only one I may need to buy is drop off GK which costs roughly 7P, so 24P for the set and I have about 5P of that. 4 accessories are from DF, 1 is from tajendi, 1 is a drop from GK, armor is a mix of MP/99%, weapons are MP. Prices are basically for just mats cost and not for profit prices, so I am told. Originating value of this set I do not know as I am a noob and am unfamiliar with pricing, but I plan to learn =)

Farming thid atm, can't do both :P, sadly thid is nowhere near as consistent as any sort of PvE money growth would be
