So I dinged realm rank 6 tonight and decided to do some testing. My rr5 spec(AT) was 50 thrust 34 CS 35 stealth/envenom/DW My new spec I am testing is 50 CS 34 thrust 37 DW 34 stealth/envenom I went and hit the target dummy 20 times and ran an average formula in Excel. Results? With 50 thrust hit target dummy with Garrotte for 98.55 average With 50 CS hit target dummy for 109 average damage. Here is the raw data. - Code: Select all

There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla.
These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

Question now is it worth the extra DPS to lose Dragonfang. Dragonfang can be a very powerful style when used at the right time. Ratfang is 2sec vs 5sec on DF so there is that.
Also Higher PA dmg obv but I did not test PA dmg for this purpose.
Another question would be, what happens if I drop thrust to 4? How much will my CS dmg variance be? Thats a lot of extra DW
I might waste another respec stone to test it.

If I were you... I would invest more on DW and rather use dark tendrils. rank6 you can max dw50 it has evade chain stun too..
cs is only for pa or backsteb lolz
thats what I did when I played daoc with Inf
just focus on swaping weapons more

you are playing on the wrong server... uthgard has a patch-state where many styles are gimp and not even usable Reflection (the prestyle for evade chain) is after parry. so good look with parrying as an infil :p

Wrong for Uthgard. Also after playing 6L0 - 6l5 with 50 CS I am officially in love with it. I never regret the switch ever. Sorry but 20 hits arent worth anything. Especially with the variances we can see in your test.
We can talk about a decent testresult after like 200+ hits.

No doubt 200 would be better but I didn't feel like doing that many. I know it is purely anecdotal but I hit a lot harder with 50 CS and I highly recommend it for all infs. It is a give and take, there have been a few fights I am sure I would have won if I had that 5 second stun, but overall 50 CS is vastly superior.
