hello,

my minstrel has hit 5L0 and got the basic RAs so far.
most of the time solo play atm.

IP2 - purge2 - Longwind 1 = 4L6

what makes sense in the next time / goals up to rr7 ?

MOF 1/2 for less resists?

MOC1 for setting flute mezz to escape?

firstaid for 3rd heal ?

MOP or wildpower for a littel more damage?

toughness for some more hitpoints?

SOS2 ?

against ~equal RR nightshade it works most of the time,
but i see a big difference to rr7+ ns and rangers, they have a really high damage output.

wich RAs are recommend for solo play without pet?

I'd personally take First Aid II as soon as possible, then work up everything else (At least obtain First Aid I).

Keep in mind your are a Hybrid Class, not a Tank. You will lose many fights if you plan to straight melee toe-to-toe every opponent.

- Mastery of Focus I - Definitely worth the investment on any Spell-Class you have 1 point to throw away.

- Mastery of Concentration - Sure, I wouldn't be too reliant on this to escape considering all the toys your class has available to escape.

- First Aid - Must have for a Solo Minstrel/Skald. Ensure you always have time to pull out to Mend up and you'll almost always win vs. Melee.

- Mastery of Pain - Not something you should invest too much in. If you're meleeing all the time you're doing it wrong. Throw extra points here.

- Wild Power - Need at least Wild Power I to make your DD Shouts have a chance to Critical Hit. Another place for your extra Points.

- Toughness - Whatever helps you survive. Another place for your extra Points.

- Speed of Sound I - Slightly more kiting distance, Assassins that have already applied Disease + Lifebane will still catch up if you don't Purge.

- Speed of Sound II - You are ensured to get away in most cases.

About all you can really work toward is getting the following RA's but you'll need at least rr7 or 8 to be able to obtain such a spec.

Long Wind I
First Aid II
Purge II
Ignore Pain II
Speed of Sound II
Mastery of Concentration I

The class is really all about wearing your opponents down, outlasting them.
