Hey everyone,

i am considering moving over to Midgard in a couple days, i was thinking about creating a warrior there.

My question is; since most of the time there will be only one warrior in each group, is there still space for another warrior, or should i consider something else like zerk instead, in the interest of rvr in a group?

edit: additional question: are there some european guilds that are still recruiting? i am interested in raids, but also and i guess mostly rvr, though i don't pretend to be a pro at it by any stretch of the imagination

Ty for the feedback
regards

Khrain

Some European guilds are always recruiting, so you should probably ask in game or check the forum. As for the class, warrior is a nice class, but most groups already have their warrior and well, pugs are fine but even pugs often spam for one of the healers or additional DPS. Zerker is a decent class to begin with, you will be invited to raids, find a group easily and well after that you can roll something else. Support classes are always welcome too.

Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women."

I do appreciate the feedback, and what you mention about warrior / grp ratio is a valid point.. I'm a bit sad panda but i'll have to think it through.

incoming zerk build question.. I read about how split spec is apparently the way to go on uthgard (hammers/axes) and then switching weapons per targets.

on paper i totally see why, even at low RR, but then what are the advantages of having 50 points in say Axes and 50 in Left Axe versus the previously mentionned split spec build?

From what I understood so far, it's not only about the dmg type but about the skills too. You'll hear a lot about the hammer "Conquer" skill (awesome back snare), which kinda justify a split spec.

As Mids groups got 12-16 slots, it shouldnt be hard to fit in 2 warriors.

how do you level that toon then?

do you go LA at your lvl and axe at your llvl rest in parry until lvl 48 then respec accordingly for the split specc?

ps not feeding trolls is always a good plan.

i did LA always on level and hammer up to 41 and from there on skilled axe, using just hammer until around level 48 and splitspec from there on.

If you want to level easy: Healer, Shaman and Tank is always a good choice!
