Hello everybody!

Just wanted to stop by and say hi. I haven't played dark age in a little over a decade now. I recently found out about Uthgard and had to come give it a try though. So far I am loving it!

I used to play Midgard back on Nimue in the classic days. My mains were a zerker and shadowblade, and thats what I plan on rolling here. Time to relive those glory days!

Of course because I havent played in so long, I feel like a complete and total noobcake again. It isn't all bad because I get to rediscover the world and make new friends. I am looking to join up with a guild that has some people around late night pacific standard time. Not sure if there are any american guilds like this, or maybe some euro guilds that might take me in?

Basically, I'm just glad to have found Uthgard and I am having a blast leveling my little baby zerker right now. Even though i am mostly broke and my gear is meh, its still been a blast these last few days. I'll see you all out there at some point!

I would level up your zerker first as it would be easier to find groups in PVE and RVR. THen bring up your SB. None the less play whatever class you want. If you need starter cash/weapon send me a tell if you see me in game

Welcome to Uthgard and Midgard!

Definitely start with the Zerker as it will be 10x easier to template than the Shadowblade.
Uthgard has many slight differences between live DAoC (or old live DAoC) but you can find most of them here on the forums.
Feel free to hit me up for information any time, all of my toons begin with Nez except for the warrior listed in my signature.

Character Builder: A great resource but contains several errors. I send them in and the owner responds, but has yet to fix many of them (for example the zerker left axe lvl 50 style instead is the 3rd part of your rear style chain and has a cold DD portion)

Thanks for tips, I'll make sure to check out the links. I completely agree that leveling the zerk first is the only way to go. Way back when, I leveled the shadowblade and it took *forever* to finally reach 50. But since it was my first 50, I had nothing else to compare it to.

The zerker is up to 16, but I'll have to sweet talk a crafter out of some armor here soon as my stuff isnt gonna do the trick for very much longer =P

Plenty of good people around Midgard. If you can't find a crafter to suit you up, I am sure someone can buy you some low level armor. If you need anything find me in game in the evening of EST time on Dnaleri

Zerk is now 29, but starting to hit a wall. My armor and weapons are green and I cant solo my way out of a wet paper bag lawl

Someone was very kind and gave me 100g, so I am hoping to find someone who has an old level 30ish SC'd set of studded armor/weapons they would like to sell. Not sure if 100g would even be the right price, probably not. But if anyone has some old stuff in their vault collecting dust, I will gladly buy it!

Cerbs, check the guild stickey at the top of the page. A guild will definately take you in and hook you up with some gear / coins.
