Btw, if you still want to keep your temp only +11 to darkness and nothing else, you might wanna get sargeant's bracers and not the twisted darksteel ones. They give some dex, power and crush resist, pretty decent.

"He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women."

I don't know what spec your runemaster is going, but if it is anything 47 or higher in dark, you could swap 8 of the +11 dark and give yourself a lot of the power you would need. +11 dark will only effect baseline spells, and if you are 47 dark you should be using the spec nukes anyway. The +3 should give you enough to have no variance on the other spells.

No that's wrong, you get ~0,5% damage per point no matter if it's base or specline, +11 dark is worth it.

Good call, I tested it and sure enough he is right. Has it always been this way? I could have sworn something like this was in place back in classic daoc. Either that or my mind just warped the idea of variance and damage together somehow.
