Selfish players couldn't understand some arguments untill they try some unfairness on themself.. I would like to see if you won't QQ if staff implement customization wich nerfs just all your toons. |

There are plenty of games and there is a live version of DAoC aswell. Maybe live would be the solution or another game. If you don't like the air find another place to breath it.
People don't care if you have a house 3 zones away as LONG AS YOU sell your items for the correct price! But some people just want to keep going on with the unfairness. Supa made a good way to earn money because the game allows him too and there is nothing wrong it that! But i simply can't understand that people STILL qq about this! There are way more important stuff to fix on uthgard than a bloody housing zone. Well just my silly greedy point of view or whatever you people call it. |

I like the classic version of this server i like that it's free, I play here from 2006 or so and I still like it for many things. I open this topic to know what people thinks about this behaviour. Personally i dislike it and I would find some solution to propose to the staff for giving to all players the same opportunities.. For example I liked Harkon's solution to fully implement housing zone. But maybe you care only about supa's business in this case go and play with him to farmerama and stop flaming here. You're wrong. He loves Uthgard. He complains about the behaviour of 1 player, not about the setting of the server. Maybe you run away everytime you meet an asshole, but imo that's not the best reaction.  RIP : Ectoplasme

it's the uthgard spirit. if someone complains, tell him to go somewhere else. regardless how stupid such an answer is.
do you just move out of your house because your neighbour is playing the music too loud but you love the rest of living there? i doubt it. youll try to figure a way out and discuss the problem. |

Yes it's a game and we're talking about how to improve it in better since a player took it too seriously and he's wasting a part of this game.. Mate did you never reflect how sick is checking every day the rent of 200 houses or so.. Making lots and lots of accounts to make lvl 1-6 chars for owning all those houses? I think that's really sad for a person enjoying this way to pkay a game

He's not wasting anything. He's doing what the game allows him to do. I would never do what he does simply because i'm to lazy to keep up all those rents. But it's he's way of making money and i think it's FAIR!. |

What if few other rich players starts doing the same business even not in mainly zones and they don't let free a single house? Do you think that's still fair just because the game allows it?

I nearly bought one of these houses from tonda/supasong then I came to me senses and will not enable that kind of behavior. Luckily I have a house in Caerwent by being patient and paying more then I wanted so tonda/supa couldn't snatch it up first.
Solution is simple. Don't buy their houses.

Yes it would be the best way to block this market but untill dumbs keep buying from him (and there are some in game) he will not stop so all the houses who belongs to him will stay blocked untill he doesn't decide to stop playing |

there are around 200+ free lots in each realm free, so every one who wants a house, can buy a lot for 300g. no one needs to sleep under the sky. we have several hundred of active players, so this a 1:1000 buy-that-lot-battle. if a single person (me^^) is able to get hands on several houses for a low price, because others are too lazy or slow, then i am the bad one... yes, that makes sense... (found irony could be kept) @crystallin: if you are that rich, feel free to buy a bunch of my houses and give to the poor. As i said I opened this thread to let players and staff reflect how to solve the problem you made since you started playing uth and I hope that staff will make a teleport for every market explorer on every zone in housing so your efforts will results totally useless and your sick job will end. Also with this post people will have more coscience and know that buying a house from you means rewarding you and letting you keeping your insane activity here. I hope also that you'll become so impopular that people starting hate you so you won't get any invitation in raids or rvr since you're wasting a feaute on this game.
I'm not a benefactor, like you sometimes I bought and sold items for higher prices.. Sometimes it's gone good for me sometimes I lost money because the item I bought has become more common in game. The difference between my business and yours is that houses are limited, items aren't. Like i said before to Plok imagine what happens if tomorrow a rich player like Flump decides to buy all houses existing in game. He could ask whatever he wants for a house. Btw be proud of your business and enjoy your sick way to play this game. |
