Hallo friends of Midgard,

What are the best RA´s for the start with a Runemaster.
Got LW1, Serenity1 and MCL1 atm.

So next Wild Power, Aug Dex or Mastery of Magery?
Or maybe something else?

Thx so far
Osaris

start with purge1 mcl2 rp2 so you got enough mana for longer fights
after that you can still choose to specc pd or dmg first ... this is rly up to whom you are playing with and how good you are at prekiting
but if you choose to spec dmg first i would recommend wp3 first ... if you got enough money to respec your ras i would take mom2 after that and repsecc to wp4 as soon as you got enough points for it

All you really need on rm is purge1 lw1 mcl1 dex2

Rest goes into dmg

My recommendation for low rr rms:

2l6:
lw1
mcl1
purge1
rp1

4l2:
acu1
dex3
eb1
lw1
mof1
mom1
ser1
wp1
mcl1
purge1
rp1

Then raise wp > mom > acu in that order.

I think rp1 is very cost efficient and good.

Yeah probably better with dex2 wp2 mom2 instead of dex3 wp1 mom1 then.

4l2:
acu1
dex2
eb1
lw1
mof1
mom2
ser1
wp2
mcl1
purge1
rp1

i would recommend rp1 before mcl1 ... dunno how often it happened that i had 0 mana with a target being arround 10% hp ... instant mana without a rupt timer can sometimes win a fight
and you only need dex2 if you constantly run with a yellow spec dex sham ... but since most of the shams roaming in emain atm are specced towards purple one you dont need dex2 for the breaking point

btw speccing all the dmg ras before you got the nessecary mana ras is like feeding a dead cow ... yeah you got that high crit chance combined with overall higher dmg but 0 mana to use it ? nice one
after several fights where i needed 1-2xmcl2 4-5xmana pots and 1xrp2 and still had 0 mana at the end i would never go to emain without that

btw my advices are directed towards any rm who runs in a standart mid setup with only 1 caster so you cant expect short fights with high spike dmg on your target like it would happen in a 2 or 3 debuffcaster setup

why are dex3 wasted points?

more dex -> faster castspeed -> more dps, and u maybe get that final spell out that kills the target

btw:

maybe in hib/alb where you have to fight against 2-3xzerker with cele charge and aotg
in mid i would only recommend pd4 on a bd but not as a rm

On Hib you play vs 2 zerker or 2 merc
On Mid you play vs 2 BM or 2 merc
On Alb you play vs 2 Zerker or 2 BM.

PD4, then you can start - especially in a pug.

One can always consider pd4 when being the only caster in the grp, alltho I would not recommend it on RM because you'll most likely just have 1 merc/bm hitting since healers are higher prioritized targets than clerics/druids for offtanks.
