I have been reading up on the forum, but it seems most of the info is from 2010 :P

What is the best char to solo farm money?

From what i hear it's either SM or Warrior/Skald/Thane.

Wich one would you pick?
As I have mostly played Hib on live (and now here) I leaning towards SM, but i might be completely wrong about that!

This would be purely a farmchar to fund my hunter/sb i will make afterwards :D

Thanks in advance for the help!

Having a solo farm playstyle myself, I would say SM is your best bet. Thane and Hunters are also good for soloing. If you are looking to make money and don't have time for raiding, then invest in a salvage character to turn your drops into money, or to do DF seals. If you are looking to make TONS of money without raiding, then put in the time to work tradeskills, preferably SC or alch to Legendary level.

You telling me there arent any mobs at 50 that drop good salvagable loot?

Malmo and Spindelhalla are the best places. Tons of loot to be had, with good salvageable quality. 1 example just off the top of my head: Ond in spindelhalla, he is easy to get to if you know what you are doing, single pull, and almost always drops a Twilight battle crasher, which salvages for 75g. Keep your eyes open for chest, legs, and cap items, they have the highest salvage value. Also 2 handed weapons & staffs.

But once again, tradeskills is where it's at, and playing the market.

Roll a SM - go full Supp and then when 50 offers services to SH groups :)

Not tried this but sometimes there are some pretty desperate groups begging for PBAOE in SH raids :0
