Like others have said, troll if you can stand the look of them. Troll is the best race for any of the melee classes. I played a troll skald on live and rolled a norse skald here because I hated the looks of the troll but I regretted it.

troll is not the best svg race. I'm playing a celt hero, and a norse warrior. If I had the chance i'd go for a firb/troll with 15 start strength and 10 quick now. |

I would argue that troll is the best race for savage, it has higher total str+dex than any other race. |

It's big and gets sheared first, but dmg output is the best + if you spec it 29 in hammer for backsnare, you still have decent dmg. That being said, norse is my favorite race in game, just so glorious xD. "He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. quickness is underrated, especially for savages without toa stats.

Yep, overall dps depends greatly on swing speed, and well it benefits evade rate. I'd go for a valkyn over a kobold any day though. "He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. troll for more damage...norse for balance...koby for blocks/parry bot...NO DOGS

Imo every RR4 kobold evades more often than these high RR trolls (Glelle/Baldur)
Btt: Troll Warri makes too much dmg and with 50 shield you should be able to block stuff even with lower MoB, dmg > little bit higher block% in mid  |
