Then you end up with a weaker mirror setup to midgard and need to play better 8)

PBAE towers are not playable in 2014, you can have some lucky moments but overall its ******.
If you want to have some bombs its eld ench ench, but eld ench menta is way better.
But lets wait for Cait!

Bard,Hero,2xDrood Set for all grps. Could be possible to even replace Hero for a BM. I'm just writing down the top 2 setups for each(In my opinion) You also kinda want an eld in every hib Grp you build

Casters

Eld
Eld
Ench
Menta
or
Eld
Ench
Menta
BM

Hybrid
BM
BM
Eld
Ench
or
2x Bard
Bm
Eld
Ench

Melee
2x Bard
2x BM
Eld
or

3xBM
Eld

Bomb grps can work with old ra's but I don't see them being a top tier setup nonetheless, if you'd want to play a Bomb grp
Bard,Hero,2xDrood

2xEnch
1xEld

+
Either a second Demezzer
or a BM

It is possible to replace a second bard with a warden for those who planned 2x Bard setups., allthough I don't see warden being that strong with Old ra's, still viable

And why should that be? The myth that zerker deal a lot more dmg than bm? Just not true. Hib is the perfect tank grp realm, and this setup is as simple (not easy to play) as strong.
You have 4 melee dps (or even 5 if you go with 1 bard) plus a lot of rupt and CC with 2 bards and 2 druids. While in a mid tank grp you have max 3 zerker or no speeder or no guard.

bm is such a great dmg dealer. He can guard he can snare he can stun he can deal dmg, while zerker can just deal dmg... and without the backchain (oh no a bleed) not even more than a bm.
It is just that you boons never tried this setup because you prefer to try and talk about unnecessary tactics. :D
And you think you need at least one caster in every grp (for whatever reason).

For sure it is easymode: easy to build, easy to win. So what.
WOG proved the setup does work, and they did not even play good.

Fulltank Hib setups can surely work but they are

-boring to play
-easily countered

Especially with old ra's offtanks will be shut down super easily. Zerker has alot more dps than a BM, less utility yes. You can't ignore the fact that LA scales better, you got celerity, the dmg add, vendo which deals alot more damage than triple wield. Have fun running fulltank grps against castergrps. If you don't catch them out of position but on open field you're going to have a hard time.
Even a single Eld in a 1caster Hibgrp can shut down your entire offtanks.
Hibs would waste so much potential when playing without eld. The tactic you're talking about only really worked with AoG & 47instamezz

Anyways, please don't turn this into a discussion, I want to have this thread as clean as possible for answers&questions

Yes...

However the biggest issue here is not that he isn't useful, it is that (at least not the old players) noone dare to try anything that isn't cookie-cutter, or if they do, then they give up after only a few runs!

If you look at damage potential then a merc and a necro can outdamage a zerk with cele, and the necro's spell is also easier to get off!

You can also see that his potential would be able to make two clerics capable of outhealing/outlasting a group with bard, warden and two druids.
Here is only the problem that probably some 'leet' guy would rather yell on ts to keep his theurgist (that he is playing poorly...) constantly supplied with power, rather than letting the necro control it and give more important groupmembers power when they need it.

There is only one big downside, and it is that for a necro to be useful, the core basics of his spells have to work correctly.
(Something I can not be sure of is the case.)
