Will armsmen become more viable with 6.0 weapons and what are your thoughts on coordinated frontload grps?

armsmen has always been good, people on uth 1.0 were just too lazy to run without a paladin :P so yea, arms will be good, aslong as you got a faster pole in your inventory for snaring.
Coordinated frontload grps (assuming you talk about melee ones) will work great when you're an alb with sos up and if you're facing a grp that runs with less sped (mid grps without a skald)
But I don't think that these will be dominant setups, atleast not if the enemies are competitive. It's still playable if you look for the fun, just not optimal.

I know you arent wanting to talk about stealthers...but would a pure sniper ranger work? Pretty much maxing Bow and PF and rest into stealth. Is the dmg gonna be good enough to 1-2 kill shot people in lower BG's? higher BG's? Big boy RvR?

Mainly just thinking of plinking people while they try to do CK takes and tower takes and such. Not really interested in melee as I have my hero for that.

And a second question...

Hero's. I know LW is the preferred system but i am not sure i will be able to do the swap shield/LW tactic. What about a pure 1h/shield hero? Is it viable for rvr in lower and higher BG's as well as big boy? And should i go crush or blades as a firbolg?

Do Group Purge give immunities?

Do BAoD count to the second tier resists like Avoidance of Magic?

What is the crit value range for debuff crits with Wild Arcana? Min crit value? Max crit value?

Can Wild Arcana debuff crits be replaced/reapplied by the same sort of spell that is not a crit? (With NF RAs crit DoTs could not be replaced/reapplied with a non-crit DoT of the same type.)

1. Not 100% sure but I think it did only give immunities to the druid who used it.

2. old Baod counts as first tier resists.

3. 1-50% on players

4. should only be replaced if another crit would lead to a higher value.

I did some research and aom, em and baod were changed to second tier resists in 1.65

http://camelotherald.wikia.com/wiki/Pat ... rsion_1.65
(Spell resists from realm abilities are now displayed and applied separately to the character, which should reduce some of the extreme cases of very high resistances.)

https://forums.freddyshouse.com/threads ... post-75104
(Nice explanation from Laalaa)

Nef Melody wrote:3. 1-50% on players

1-50% for DoTs too? Do you have a source for this value or is it from memory?

Nef Melody wrote:4. should only be replaced if another crit would lead to a higher value.

Is it like that for combined spells like snare-nukes and resist-debuff-nukes too? Will the damage part be ignored if the snare or debuff part of the spells do not crit higher values? Do you have a source that critted debuffs could not be replaced by lower-value or non-crits or is it from memory?

Sorc
Theurg
Arms
Merc
Cab/Merc/Minst
Friar
Cleric
Cleric

Staff: 29 Rejuvenation: 33 Enhancement: 48 Parry: 10

Realm Abilities with 3L2

Augmented Acuity 2
Long Wind 2
Mastery of the Arcane 2
Purge

with a higher realm rank go for more damage or healing oriented realm abilites, depending on what your group needs.

e.g.

Augemented Dexterity
Mastery of Pain
Wild Healing
Mastery of Healing
Augemented Quickness

Your role in that group would be similar to a warden in a Hib group, offensive pressure / rupts, secondary healing - depending on the enemy setup. With the additional buffs your group will not only be able to buff everyone with the best possible buffs, but also buff your pets which are one of the reasons why alb is the superior realm

Vouch for my buddy raifs, you can trust his advice !
except for aug quick (bad) :-?
Friar is actually not that terrible for grps, because albs are less vulnerable to cc (qc demezz, sos) that means melees without det are playable. Elemental resists are even more important with old ra's since there's no chargetanks to pressure dps casters.

Pure sniper Ranger for bgs is going to work perfectly, alltho bgs are very equip dependant, people with sc will always screw over the ones without. Lvl 50 rvr will be really hard, rangers are really bad in stealth battles.
1h/Shield heros are pretty much useless before having slam, which you can't get in the bgs. 1h/shield is only viable for pve, just get used to the weapon swapping, it aint that hard :)

How did OF RA Prevent Flight snares stack with regular weapon snare style effects? Did the snares stack or did one of them have priority or overwrite the other or something else?

Pf would stack with melee snares, not sure about cast snares. But pf could only be applied if the target is moving as far as I remember.

don't take my statements as granted, I recall everything from memory and old ra's were quite some time ago :P
