As for an alb grp what are your thoughts on the following
Cleri Cleri Pala Sorc/theu/arms/?necro? Sorc Caba Caba Minst I think minst is necessary for speed but then no 2nd sorc. Is arms the better option since theu looses alot in old ras? |
|
theu still op
|
|
Indeed, weaker than with new ra's but still op Allthough cut the Paladin, it's just terrible, you would be better even without endu pots than with a paladin. Additionally I really favor grps that have atleast one light tank to just run around and proc PF, but if you want double cab which is reasonable I'd go for this. However the strongest Alb setup is the one Rayfs mentioned before. (Atleast I'm sharing that opinion) Cleric Cleric Arms/merc Theurg Cab Cab (or merc) Minst Sorc |

@ old Ras
What deals more Hitpoints/will be the better RA, aug. const. or toughness? When I got it right aug. const will increase fix amount of hitpoints differs of class (tank class 1 const = 5 hp for example) and toughness will increase your basic hitpoints by 3% by level of toughness so it may be the better choice if you pick a character with much basic hitpoints like a shar hero and so on, also toughness ain ´t that much afflicted by con-debuff spells right? regards Megrim |
|
IF they do it right...there wont be any Shar / Ogres / Frostalfs anymore ( which is a pitty really ).
On your question : I guess youre right, aug con should be more valuable |
|
in old ra keeping similar RAs on the same lvl is much better than boosting one. so u ll get con and tough anyways if u want max hp/rp

Hello
I'm novice I need to ask about Weapon skill within hitting rate enemy armor List below from other website:(http://www.postcount.net/forum/showthre ... l-question) 1) weaponskill does nothing, its a display value only 2) you need 52 (not 51) composite to hit the cap on variation when doing rvr. 3) for more points then 52 spend in a line you only get: style damage on styles from that line and 0.5% towhand damage bonus per point if its a twohanded weapon, and if its a DW spec you get a increase of your dw hit chance aswell. weaponskill = chance to bypass defenses. Although having weapon to composite (item bonuses + realm rank) to 52 effects damage variation. Points beyond 52 will raise weaponskill but not damage variance. is it true? tell me detail about weapon skill and hitting rate and skill points ex) I have learned thrust 30, item bonus is +11 and realm rank 8(then +7) maybe total thrust skill is 30+11+7 = 48 it is less than 52, then it will make bad hitting rate for level 50 enemy? and I have scrap your thread
I can't get anything about 26 and 51 what does mean? Best Regards Silent leges inter arma

If your target is vulnerable to your dmg type, you hit %10 harder. If he is resistant, %10 less. So not having that %10 bonus and having %10 penalty insteed makes a huge difference. Since you use dual wield styles with split spec, you have max ability dmg and the only penalty is bigger variance of your base dmg. He says that's why split spec with low weapon deals more dmg against vulnerable targets than comp cap weapon against resistant targets. ''weaponskill = chance to bypass defenses.'' That's not a problem against caster/support. You can have a problem hitting heavy tanks yes, but they are not your priority. Also shield skill increases your hit chance with slam, not weapon skill. You will be ok as long as you can slam them. |

2 bard setup sucks if you're fighting tank groups. No one here mentioned 3x druid setup with tanks, which is much better than 2x bard IMO.
Definitely one of the best hib setups but falls apart if you have sh.tty players. Mid caster setup sucks, will get run over by tank groups that know what they're doing. Hib tankers with GP pushing will rape them just like alb tankers with sos up will. Full caster is hard to do on mid old RAs. SM is a total waste, much better to have 3rd RM.
Theurg isn't that great vs mid push groups. Much better to have an extra cab or another tank. This setup also works well without the minstrel. Sometimes minstrel and theurg is overkill, and you lose dps. Clr Clr Sorc cab cab cab tank tank is very strong. Neverboys = good alb play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgRQorZ9xCY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhhP8SUYmKA Cheers,
