Im not a fan of /noqueue. Either just cast it 2x, it is a very fast cast, or you see the resist hit your movekey+face to interupt your queued spell and cast the debuff again . Not worth it to hassle with /noqueue. You can also just hit your debuff key 1x instead of following up with a massive key smash orgy and have the same as /noqueue but without having the disadvatage of having it always on. |

There is no disadvantage about /noqueue |

That's like saying, "Qbinds are extremely overrated. Name one situation where having a qbind is better than clicking your spell on the bar" Never heard about animation cancelling aswell ? If you care about optimizing your gameplay, use /noqueue. If you are a lazy slob who thinks "It's not worth the hassle" go on use it |
|
Well the advantage of having Qbinds over not having them and /noqueue is a little extrem
I dont buy these advantages of having /noqueue and beeing lazy instead. More time to focus on more important things, also there is no risk of loosing casting time. To me it is personal taste, maybe I should try /noqueue and see if I feel a difference. |

queue was good for genesis because u could be sure your first attempt would be resisted anyway... /sarcasm

If pressing your skills in the right order requires your focus then you should probably go back to pve. There is no risk of loosing cast time because the animation finishes after the actual spell, means you can kind of queue them even with /noqueue. There is however a risk of loosing casttime with spellqueue on, you even said that in your own post.

It's absolutely nothing like qbinds... Again, I don't hear any advantages for using noqueue. If I queue a spell and decide to change my mind, I can just queue another one that overrides the first queue. The end result is the exact same as having noqueue on, the only difference is I don't have to spam my keyboard to get max cast speed. 99 times out of 100 I know what the next spell is that I need to cast and don't have to change my mind. But again, this doesn't even matter. The only time /noqueue would help is when you're casting a spell but don't want to cast a second spell AND CONTINUE standing still. This again is bs because any time I'm not casting in RVR I'm moving to get better position. So again, having /noqueue on is pointless. I'm still waiting to hear from someone why it's better than having queue on... Cheers,

I don't want to quote the exact same text for a 3rd time.
Debuff -> Resist -> You have to cast the debuff again Debuff -> Success -> You have to cast a nuke If your playing a debuffer you will be right with your queued spell almost 9 out of 10 times. If thats enough for you I guess there is no argument to be made here. |

Lol? Who casts debuffs - stops - looks to see if the spell got resisted - then starts casting a 2nd spell? You lose a lot of time doing that. You can also wait and see what's casted with queue on... Last edited by Outphaze on Apr 26, 2016 02:41, edited 1 time in total.

Average human reaction time to visual stimulus is like 200-400ms. If you train your reaction time you can easily go below 250ms - and yes I do exactly that. Cast debuff - look for resist - cast dd/another debuff. You loose ALOT MORE time for having to cancel an accidently queued spell, you can cast your spells on wrong targets when queuing, amnesia deletes your spellqueue etc. THERE IS NO SINGLE POSITIVE THING ABOUT USING SPELLQUEUE If you want to train your reaction time, mouse control, etc. http://www.aim400kg.com I guess you have no clue what animation cancelling means aswell, you will never be able to do any, waiting for the next spell in queue |
