Stormur Vakten is a casual, multi-game guild founded by RL friends with a long history in DAoC. We offer a competitive leadership structure -- the guild is run by four Thanes that can be challenged by any rank-and-file member -- and a nice war tribe theme. We'd like to test out a PBAE group at launch, but play what you like.

Update: We have changed the guild structure. We will reform the guild (live) with only rr5+ players. Members of Stormur Vakten (i.e., those that are a part of our gaming community at large) are encouraged to group and join other guilds until a critical mass of rr5 SV members are ready to form. Those interested in joining are encouraged to apply on our website and play beta, overwatch, and various other games with us as we await a critical number of RR5 members. To be clear, we will maintain our casual play style, but we are delaying official guild formation until we have solid mains and our footing in live.

We'll be playing Beta, but not as regularly as we will during live. We're a casual bunch, and with the character wipe at the end of beta, we're more interested in providing feedback to the Developers, meeting new people, getting to know each other a little better, and planning for live. We do, of course, plan to level to 50, RvR, etc.

We would really like to roll a PBAE group for live, and that's the plan. That said, I should emphasize that we're accepting all classes, and I'm sure we'll have melee groups running around as well. We just like the combination of ae stun + moc + pbae through walls + those frontier bonuses

If anyone is interested in joining or just getting to know us, please drop me a line. Our forums are all set up and our Discord channel has been a lot of fun so far.

Oh, and if our forum membership count is correct, we've got a little under 20 members at the moment. I'm not sure how many of our new people plan to thoroughly test Beta.
