Everybody goes troll. What is the difference mathematically of going dwarf instead?
Troll level 1 stats: 115 str, 70 con, 35 dex, 45 qui Troll level 50 stats: 160 str, 85 con, 58 dex, 45 qui Dwarf level 1 stats: 75 str, 80 con, 50 dex, 60 qui Dwarf level 50 stats: 120 str, 95 con, 73 dex, 60 qui I am assuming that 40 str in terms of damage greatly outweighs any defensive advantage from 15 dex, 15 qui, and 10 con, but I am not sure of the formulas to calculate damage, or evade/parry rate. How do weapon speeds and damage factor in? Could a dwarf do near the same damage with slowest weapons swinging a bit faster? Or do zerkers always use the slowest available? stats were calculated from Nixian http://play.nixian.eu/index.php?page=charbuilder |

although i despise cheap df spamming zerker rollers...
go with troll. its just way stronger with cele. google how cele works and you will understand. the only reason not to go troll is looks....but you WILL deal less damage. its even more noticable in a classic environment. |

df = doublefrost? Just want to know what to spam when live launches |

comes with the class. Your keyboard will change to a BIG KEY with df bound, you will not have any other option It's the thrill of the chase

Here is a lot of basic info regarding damage, defence etc.:
https://web.archive.org/web/20080918194 ... C/info.php You can do all of the calculations yourself. Imo, the only reason in some circumstances against troll is size, otherwise the 1-2% more defence is not worth the reduced damage. Also, haste, celerity and MoArms work very well with low qui races like troll. |

Awesome link thanks

WS determines the chance that you can by-pass another opponents defenses (evade/parry/block).
That's from the link you copied. So WS doesn't affect DMG directly but only reduces they chance you are evaded\blocked\parried. Is it the same on Uthgard? |
|
WS is also in the dmg formula, not only in def penetration
