Hello,

at this moment i have to make the decision if I want to play a berserk or a savage.

Few questions about the savage:
- Does the attack speed buff from the savage stack with the attack speed buff from the aug healer?
- Does the attack speed buff from the savage stack with the celerity buff from the aug healer?
- What stat is needed for Hand to Hand dmg? Only Str? or Str/Dex?
- What do you guys think? Savage worth on this patch level or better go the save way and do a berserk?

Just my opinion:

play what you think is cooler, if you like the hand to hand weapon style play the Savage.

If you wanna use axes and turn into a bear, play a zerker!

You'll have fun regardless and worst case scenario if one is weaker then the other on live, just make an alt and enjoy leveling again!

1. it should, up to attack speed cap (1.5 sec per swing)
2. same as 1.
3. HTH is str/dex and doesnt matter what type of dmg (slash/thrust) it is.
4. not sure if H2H is considered as DW or single hand attack ( it is important vs shield classes or guarded toons)

1. does not stack with single haste (but with cele)

4. single attack - no dw bonus against shield...

the svg destroys anyone with low to zero defense, escpecially when able to use positional styles (can also do great dmg to targets with high def, if from behind/side).

the berserker is more persistent, has a way better chance of piercing the enemies defense and aint so much pos style dependend (altough he does have a great back combo).

so... if you want constant, good dmg, play zerk. if you dont care for that, play svg.

Pretty sure it is considered single hand attack at this patch level. Then the double/trip/quad hits proc on the off hand.

I rolled my first Savage, lvl10 atm.

Is it normal behaviour that it is very very rarely that both weapons hit?
I have many fights with zero hits from the second weapon and no message that it is a miss, sometimes the combat window says i'd missed.
Somestimes mobs wich are blue to me are very dangerous to fight, they do 20dmg and i hit only for 12 or so.
I can only hope on many evade/parry by me and misses of the mob.

If you went with Pierce h2h weapons, would you be able to shred support classes like clerics?

Yes you should use two sets of weapons,

Thrust versus Clerics, Mercenaries, Minstrel, Reaver, Bard, Blademaster, Ranger, Nightshade

Slash versus Champion, Druid, Hero, Warden, Scout, Armsman, Paladin

Versus all other classes your damage type won't result in any benefits or detriments.

consider that savage h2h spec only has a after-evade snare style available and no prevent flight RA available.
savages are, besides the evade/parry, easily peeled.
Remember DAoC?
