If you would actually play in PvE, you would actually learn to play your class.
If you would actually play in PvE, you would actually talk to the other members.
If you would actually play in PvE, you wouldn't get to 50 without knowing the rules of timers, rules of interruption and your role in a group fight.

And actually, Healer is one of the best support to start with : You have 3 possible specializations available (4 if you consider mend/aug or mend/pac).

For someone that is new to the game. It might not be the easiest class, but its doable. Just make sure you join with a friend or make friends fast. Because leveling as a healer solo is a masochist thing.. Start with an aug + mend spec. It is wanted in any type of play. And you can start practicing stuns and messes as backup.
