Hey Guys!

With the release of Uthgard 2.0 I wanted to start a new adventure and start with a Troll Skald... So far so good.. but, I'm now level 9 and I didnt find any armor yet. I know its unnecessary cause its just the Beta and my chars get deleted anyway. To my question, when the server goes live, how does people get armor and weapons without gold? I wiped on blue enemys and I dont know where I can farm gold/items to get better, I wear still grey clothes and a green weapon.

Any tipps? Should I do some Tasks for money or Items?

The last time I was online in DAoC is some years ago

Hope you guys can help me or can give me some tipps how I can level "easier"

Your best bet at your level would be to either make some friends with mid crafters through sexual favors or head to Nisse's Lair and get into a group. You aren't a tank so your armor shouldn't matter too much of a concern and there are some drops there. From there you should be ok to head to Vendo caverns where there are a lot more drops. (the snake charmer is a goldmine)

If you want some studded I could possible make some though I won't be on until much later this evening. If you do see me online shoot me a tell. It might take like 5m to make you a full suit.

Doing kill tasks from a named guard will help you buy a weapon. Get one that is red or orange and will last a few levels. The guard tower outside Nalliten is good at lvl 9 iirc

Im a lvl 15 Skala now and my equippment is ok. What i did grinding. Yes that needs more time than killtasks but i always found armor and weapons.

Midgard has some good low to early mid level (<25) one time drops and quests for gear (do your trainer ones given in Jord). Talk to the crier in Jord for what NPCS have quests available to you. It wont let me post a url as a new user (spammy warning) but if you google one time drops daoc you will get some lists.
