Hi guys,

I have few questions...

1) Current state on the 1.65 of the ShadowBlade?

2) 2Handed PA is still a thing?

3) I hate the Weapon Swap for more Poisons on Target, is possibile to Play without it (Only with the 2H and the two Dual Wield poisoned or the double Dual Wield poisoned (If I remember correctly the Shadowblade can equip two set of Dual Wield) and be competitive?

4) There is any performant build without the use of Poison if the answer at 3) isn't positive?

5) Any thoughts about Shadowblade?

1) Implemented with all 1.65 features.

2) There is a recent thread for that, no need for a new discussion. Use the search function.

3) SB, like any other char, has a right hand slot, a left hand slot, a 2h slot and a ranged slot.
You can not equip 2 sets of dual wield, but you can equip a right hand weapon to the 2h slot, thus switch the MAIN hand of your dual wield set (but not the left hand). You will be at disadvantage when you do not swap. Will you be not competitive? Well that depends on your target.
- If your target is not dead by the time the dot/debuff fades, it is a big advantage to re-apply.
- If your target purges, it is a big disadvantage not to re-apply.

4) No. Str/con debuff on tanks can not be compensated by better defense (e.g. due to higher weaponskill), and DoT damage is hard to compensate with higher weapon damage through spec only (6x65 = 390 damage, even more when you re-apply).

5) I hope there will be many. I will play a nightshade :D

Maybe consider playing a hunter or ranger? No need to swap weapons, you can use 2h weapon (at least as a hunter), and you have self buffs.

I made a shadowblade, I am up to lvl 11 right now, I do not have much currently, some armor and decent weapons. I do like the fact that shadowblades can easily take on most mobs by themselves, and I highly recommend autotrain stealth, do not put points into it.

I can kill a green mob in 4 moves, a blue mob in roughly 6-7 moves. I have not been playing as much as I would like and currently in the beta it is a little more difficult to find a group being as most people are high level. I do recommend you make one and try it out.
