Just curious.

If i use my housevault for storing pots for different characters it means

- craft in Camelot until invetory full
- run to housing zone
- run/ride to my house
- store pots
- port back
- repeat?

Is it really this annoying? Or and way faster?
Can make it easier with alchemy table and merchant in house?
Means everyone crafts alone at home? :(

Yes.

Teleporters in capitals are evil!

edit: or you suicide outside the capital and /rel house, or you use the vaultkeeper for more inventoryspace. fun over fun at all. :D

So you can dedicate a full evening for crafting :(
Who has got time for this in 2016??

But vault is a good hint. Thanks.
Maybe ride to sauvage and port to house from there might be more comfortable then as well.
If you can port from sauvage to house.

You are just not dedicated enough to the spirit of the server!

But don´t worry, with the implementation of SI it will be all good.

Just suicide, /rel house, unload inventory, port to capital, rinse repeat.

BUT, at some point there should be crafting merchants available for housing. There is a report on it in the issue tracker. that should solve this problem and save us all from alot of running around.

1) I bought 200 of every ingredient used in the potions that I use while in Emain, and stuffed those in personal vault.
2) Personally, I suicide everywhere. After buying potion ingredients I suicide in Camelot at the Sorcerer trainer area... /release house.
3) I craft all my potions at my house so I can move quickly from alchemy table to my house vaults faster.

By buying in bulk and treating my personal vault keeper as an ingredient merchant I am not locked to Camelot to craft.

P.S. I usually keep 2 vaults stuffed with potions. takes me maybe 30mins to hour to refill it all and i do that 1 maybe 2 times a week. And Yes, I re-craft new potions and not restock via duping.

Its really not that bad to be honest. I enjoy the game so these steps are a part of what It takes to play at the perceived level I play at. I like to be competitive, so I take the time to make sure I have what I need to be competitive. I run Dex, Fort and Might potions + a 75 Dex/Quick charge, a 75 AF charge and a 75 Acuity charge... so I am also recharging my ALCHEMY charges as well in the downtime. I vault the 2 items charged, and refill their uses when potion making. Being that I have my own SC and ALCH I've had 3 sets of my gloves and and boots made just in case I run out of charges before refilling vaults. in which case on the next death I /release house restock potions and swap out hands and feet for new round of 10 charges.

Lets be honest. if you have a house, optimize your use of it. When you die, release house click the healer and port CS for Emain action. If you craft stuff the ingredients that you use in your personal vault keeper. If you're a potion hoe like me, stuff 2 vaults with potions and you're set... i mean each page holds 20 potions...

Personally I restock the vaults in the downtime so that I am not missing anything. Honestly it will be in relation to how much time you have personally.

Thought this might be useful to others who read these forums...

Hi,

tanks for your nice reply.

d/q charge is dracescale bracer? You recharge everything with alchemist? Or only the crafted possible?
Alchemist low lvl toon? Else suicide will lead to enormous healer costs?

greeetz

and my response to said questions:

Thalien,
To answer your questions:
1) Yes the d/q charge is from the Shimmering Drakescale Bracer.
2) Couple things here:
a) I simply recharge the alchemist made procs , ie 75AF charge/75Acuity Charge/Dot Charge for grey pets, with my alchemist who I keep parked at my house.
b) Though to expand on this question... either char (my Sorcerer, or my alchemist paladin) could charge the drakescale bracer using a re-charger in my house or in Camelot). So if you find it to be of more convenience to just recharge it all at the same time on one char go for it.
c) I recharge that bracer more often (5 charges) and have to restock the vault less often than that. I do this when I am /release house after death.
3) My alchemist is currently LGM or over 1100 to the best of my knowledge and is a lvl 50 paladin and suicide costs have never been an issue.

4) I have played consistently since the open beta launch... I had one char 50 before insta-50 happened... and another 2 in their mid forties. I played with an active guild with players that logged on my time often and we farmed a lot of the stuff needed, and other items were purchased with coin raised through crafting, farming, item sales yada. After temping my char before the servers population dropped I managed to raise enough coin to buy myself a house that has enough vaults and merchants to manage and maintain my needs. I occasionally farm for alchemist drops on my cabalist in lyonese. So there is obviously going to be an amount of time a new player, or player with less access to the game then myself is going to have to spend to get to a point where they can do all this. I put in the time to be able to run my char often with minimum interruptions from potion breaks and the such.
