Starting Strength is why. You loose 30 Str if you pick Celt. That equals to aug str 5 (25 RApoints worth of stats).
Bard needs Dex instead (casting speed) and that is why you pick Celt (Same reasoning why you pick Celt Druid).

warden bolg only if you wanna be solo with melee blunt specc, otherwise celt because more dex = quicker casts.

it is really anoying for enemies if you just have celts, e4ven better when all have about the same rr

It depends on if you are just going pure offensive for 8man, Then yes Bolg hits harder and doesn't need defense and would be the best choice. If howerer you plan on solo or small skirmishes or duo with a bard, or any chance you need to be defensive.... You are better off as a Celt. +20 dex and +20qui will help you swing faster (qui), parry (dex) and evade (dex + qui) more.

When looking at stats that help a fighter Celt has the advantage with 10 more because Bolg loses 10 to empanthy. 30 str VS 20dex and 20qui

I´m not willing to trade a massive ammount of Weaponskill and Damage for a less than a percent Chance to block. A single point in mastery of Blocking has more impact than that.

If you got the choice between free aug str5 and free moblock 1 i pick aug str5 any day.
