Few years back I played on another server and ran a Mana Ment and did a lot of AE Kiting.. Mostly in the frontier and I just loaded up on goodies to trinket.

Will this still be a "thing" here or does 1.65 change that a little ?

lol... good luck finding a camp in the frontiers to AE dot... frontiers are scarce and not very well grouped for this kind of play. Groups will struggle to find consistent camps to level off of much less solos finding spots to AE dot and "load up on goodies". In theory 1.65 should NOT change this, but this is a custom DAOC server that is aiming for a patch level and falling short with its various custom changes.

Hmm.. I might need to go Animist then .. I need to be able to solo farm since I have very limited play time..

yep, they can do the trick... animists are still buggy on this server though. Known bugs since the first few months of beta that have been yet to be fixed. Shrooms constantly bug out and stop casting all together, and there are various other bugs that can be seen on the tracker. I leveled one from 1-50 on the beta and it still worked out with buggy shrooms, but if Customgard actually had them working as they should be I guess it would be way to 1.65 like and the other realms would QQ. Don't know the reasoning and/or logic behind it, but animist shrooms bugging out has been a thing for 5 months and it is still happening. We will need animists to get a lot of our PvE done on hib, sadly I will have a hard time recommending for people to roll one since the devs have decided it isn't priority. Oh, also there is a shroom cap on this server. RIP end game animist pve. I am sure all the major mid bugs got finished months ago though, have no fear.

Falken please stop this ridiculous attempt to say we are favouring mids. If there is a bug in the tracker you want fixed, make sure it's well researched and easy to reproduce and up vote it. All bugs will be fixed eventually.

To be fair, broken class mechanics/spells/RAs that affect realm balance should really be given priority no matter the votes.

Insufficient evidence is one thing and understandable(this could be better communicated however), but you must realize 2/3s of the players arent going to upvote priority on issues that do not help their realm or fixes that make it harder for their realm to rvr against.

Sorry on topic, i would suggest animist for solo farming personally. Plan on 25% to 30% of shrooms bugging out but its still managable to farm decent with mcl 2. Use lower level shrooms and it wont hurt as bad when some bug out. There really isnt any camps big enough on uthgard hib to aoe dot farm at 50, i cant think of a single one worthwhile. When ani get fixed they will be better hands down though compared to ment.

i would not recommend to create an animist at the moment.

i leveled one at beta, and it wasnt as you might imagine. animist solo wasnt lots of fun, because you couldnt utilize the controlled pet properly, without a decent chance of bugging your FnF shrooms. also mana is an issue, especially after the change in phase 1.

the "idea" of farming lots of mobs easily with your stacked up shrooms aint working most of the time, due to some intended and some unintended mechanics. its hard to explain, since it is based of many small things.. but during my short solo experience, i often wished to be a void eld - probably would have been easier. :D

group can be different, especially if you duo with a mana ment.. he gives you pom (which is so huge on animist), can hot you and your tank pet, and pulls mobs into range. but should that bug concerning the not attacking shrooms still exist, which seems to be the case if you look here, id rather go with ment.. even tho there will be like millions of them already anyways :D

yes, mutiny in the shroom world! xD please note, that this was beta phase 1, i added it in the post aswell... but the problem still exists, as it seems in that issue

this was the very first issue regarding that bug.. but as this shows (which is the more up to date version), it is still a problem.

I assume you mean VLALkor? I just woke up to see this thread, but thanks for trying to get personal attacks off on the forums when people don't agree with you. If you really mean valkor, I'm sorry, I do not know who that is.
