That way you get blue Nearsight, yellow Body debuff, and decent damage. Though keep in mind, that spec won't shine its brightest until higher RR due to damage variance from low Body. The rest of his list is perfect.

I think the idea of using a Cab's AoE DOTs in a kite group is dangerous. You need to be able to throw down roots and mezzes at critical times, and those DOTs will break it/provide immunities. Having a Mind Sorc and a Body Sorc will give you a better mix of damage and CC, than two Cabs will.

Also, never drop the Theurgist, it is Albion's saving grace. Really, it's your biggest advantage. Virtually every group is better off with a Theurg (Whether you should spec high Earth, or high Air, is mostly dependent on if you what kind of groups you're fighting). You already have lots of tools to use against melee groups, so take advantage of massive pet numbers for those caster/hybrid groups!

As for small man, definitely go for the Minstrel :)

Pretty spot on about the Theurgist imo. Although 2 cabs and 2 sorcs could work just because of the crazy damage output of red debuff + 4 life taps. Any target that's overextended would get dropped instantly. That setup would be better against tank groups whereas a theurgist with pet rupts would by far be the best against any caster setup.

There is no synergy for theu in a caster grp. You need to drop targets quickly so you want more cabs/sorcs instead of a theu

I don't think people understand just how powerful the theurg is. Having one gives you a huge long range interrupt advantage, 2-3 earth pets on support will lock them down. Pets cast towards enemy casters can easily be quickcast ae nuked off. Also the theurg is nearly 100% as effective after getting rez'd with no buffs and rez ill. All this makes the theurg shine against tank groups.

I think the best bet would be:

Sorcerer (mind spec)
Minstrel
Cleric
Cleric
Cabalist (tri spec)
Thurgist (earth)
Sorc (body)
Merc / Paladin(if you don't want to run pots)

Cleric
Cleric
Minst
Theurg
Sorc
Sorc
Cab
Cab

Was stated above, but thats the way to go. Swap out cab for arms peeler and make other cab tri-spec if you want.

Ahhh no synergy why didn't i think of that? That's why no one ever plays a theurg in caster groups!
