I will be playing release with a group of friends, we are looking for a place to call home. We've experienced a lot of elitists that wont group with you because you are not the right spec they want you to be. Was pretty turned off by this in my time during beta so hoping to find a guild or group of players that just want to have fun, kick some ass, and relive some old memories of DAOC.

Hiya thanks for posting, I also will be playing release with some friends I've met on EQ recently, I also was turned off by the elitism of the beta. If I decide to reboot Empire it will be a casual guild, while groups will need to be somewhat viable, turning away someone because they don't fit the group perfectly or aren't what you think is the perfect spec, is not gonna be an ok way to be. GM'ing in the Beta taught me alot of things on what to do and what not to do so I'm looking forward to coming back with a fresh outlook on Uthgarde, looking forward to meeting new friends and reuniting with old ones. WIll keep ya posted the closer we get to re release.

Think I played w/you guys for a bit on my Skald. If it's the group I'm thinking, was coincidentally guilded here w/an old ex-guildie from p99 (Lazie) who played a warrior & you guys constantly ran 2 war 8-mans. Was fun stuff.

So what will Empire be on launch? Still "softcore casual?" Cuz if so, that might entice me & a couple buds from p99 to join y'all.

Well myself and a few others are NA yes, i'm central time Texas. I'm hoping we get ppl from all timezones tho so theres usually always at least a couple ppl online
