I'm going to be rolling either a Norse or Dwarven Skald, but I'm a little unsure about the starting stat distribution. I was planning to go with 10/10/10 (STR/DEX/CON), if that's acceptable, but am I correct in understanding that CHA is also important for a Skald? Is it important enough to drop points into at character creation?

i'll be troll , so difference between 110 and 120 quickness at 50 is 0.1s on a 5.0s weapons.
10 con is 50pv .
btw lower speed means higher damage on first hit aka front load 2 hander.

Okay, cool! I appreciate your help. I suppose it does make a lot more sense to just ditch DEX for CHA.

i believe there are multiple viable spec.
i will personnaly go for 44hammer/46chant/17parry for back snare combo and last dmg add.
but have to admit i hesitated a lot with 50 Weapon / 43 chant.
you lose the higher dmg add but it get covered with the higher weaponskill , other than that one of the DD is low which can be a problem as well. but with 50 weapon in AXE or SWORD you have some nice style available.

hard choice

I think I'm going to go with:

50 Battlesongs
39 Hammer
18 Parry

44 Hammer
44 BS
21 Parry

Potentially viable, lose the higher damage chant but gain some parry.
