Hey all, thinking of joining mid side but I was curious about how the community is. I remember on my old server mid was always seen as a bunch of jerks (even by the other people playing mid), so before i joined i just want to make sure its a good environment.

What does everyone think of the community so far?

Its been good so far, but then I am leader of the casual guild there where we strongly are against any Elitism. So inside these guild walls its fine

I started on Hib and they were decent, but I did ran into more than a couple jerks. Kill stealing (even though the starter zones are pandemonium, you can still be a decent human being), outright a-hole attitudes, etc. Not a ton of it, but enough to be irritating.

I have run into none of that so far on Mid, though I only have 3 toons up to 5. All I've seen are people purposely backing off when they accidentally attack the same mob, I've gotten DA buffs more times on 1 toon here than the 3 I got to 5 on Hib.

DISCLAIMER: These are starter zones and I'm NOT suggesting one realm is better/worse, this was just my experience.

I Levelled 3 char so far in Midgard, one to 20, one to 10 and another to 15.

So far mostly nice people, no raging/blaming and never seen killstealing happen voluntarily.

Honestly, seems better than Alb. Roomate got on Alb the other day and the newb guild chat was nothing but people whining about mid or hib having an advantage, etc etc. Then other guys yelling at them and in general just seemed like a bit of a mess.\

Mid so far has been great for me.

We're huge assholes for the most part.

Mid is the best realm, we had taken DF in first !

Mid has been awesome

People group up well (even if you are the second healer!)

Very few grief erst awesome group trades/rolls

I'm playing mostly solo so far (due to random having to leave, can't always pay full attention to the game etc). The people I've run across so far have been great. I've received random gear they didn't need and I've tried to pay it forward myself.

No kill stealing, no idiots, just a lot of friendly people. I always sometimes randomly receive a pom from someone in the same general area.

Someone got me doing that!

I pom peeps until I find a group.

I left my char idle after I had to leave, they asked to keep my pom buffs. Got 3g in tips from them.

Love mid!
