Everyone talks specs, but for someone who has never played a hero, and wants to be group friendly, what are the pros and cons of Celt vs Firbolg?
Also, do you put your points STR/CON/QUI or STR/DEX/QUI or STR/CON? I have seen different opinions |

bolg +10 str, dex, qui
100 starting str vs 70 is like free aug str 5 |

Only option if you have a standard on aesthetics: celt with 10str 10dex 10con

Are these the only viable builds?

How much HP does +10 con give a hero? Deciding whether I should give my Firby +10 str/dex/qui or str/dex/con

44 at level 50, as far as I know. I went qui on my celt because I felt attack speed will be useful both in an offensive (more dps) and a defensive (quicker slam+snare) role. |

10 STR/CON/DEXT or 10 STR/DEX/QUI will not be noticiable. I guess 1 CON is around 3 HP (you can easily do the test IG), so let's say you have around +30HP. On RvR purpose (especially 8 man) I would rather choose +10 QUI > +10 CON. You will be main of the time the last target or around the last, basically when it's your turn it's already over. In this context, you rather slam/hit quick than have +30HP. I will not go too deep into details, depending on situation, ofc if you are the balance of your group or you push against caster grp you could die first, even then, 30HP will not make much difference. You can't go wrong whatever you chose here, so don't think too much. |

Conversation about con is a lil bit different for heroes, as heavy tanks get 4.4hp per con iirc and benefit the most from the stat due to the following:
- Stag/Moose (class ability) - Ignore Pain RA - Toughness RA 10 extra dex means 0.5% extra block/parry chance per my paper daoc, so 44hp vs .5% block/parry chance - decide for yourself. You're likely geting Aug Dex 2 regardless, for MoPain if anything, so u'll get some extra dex. Con? not so much unless you go for Avoid Pain RA. Evinak - Eldritch
Evinac - Hero <Blazed> |
