Can Skalds be tailors?

Looking back a few websites list a skald as being able to be a tailor. I asked a few people in game, and get answers both way.

When I try to train as a tailor, I get the "you cant train that, go kindly elsewhere" response. Is this correct, or am I bugged?

Thanks. Ive seen conflicting reports from several locations. Guess Ill roll an RM to be my tailor... Doh...
