Probably already answered somewhere here, but I can't seem to find it so here goes.
Leveling my inf and I want to make him able to salvage. I know 800 is the magic number to shoot for, but once I'm 50 I just want to farm and salvage metal bars and maybe cloth/leather if I'm able. Do I have to go with something like WC to get my metalworking up high enough to salvage? Or can I go with tailoring and just up my metalworking another cheaper way? Basically I'm looking for a cheap way to get metalworking up if that makes any sense. Thanks in advance to any feedback. |

You can go Tailor to around 950 and then level metalworking to 800 with low level stuff.

Forget that "800" is a magic number. 1000 is the magic number.
Especially since you're Albion ... forget about DF for farming. It may happen, sure, but not that often. (long time experience ) There are other ways to farm money in Albion, and some are really good. Albion Forever!

Start tailoring, level metalworking, woodworking later by making items from the woodworking/metalworking lines like toy swords, hinges atleast to 300, 400 even better (because materials are relative cheap the first 300/400 levels, then start a secondary craft like fletching, armor/weaponcraft to raise woodworking/metalworking futher.

i would suggest to go after 500 from leather to the last cloth that you can craft, hands, boots and sleeves. if you want to pimp that, it would be after 500 tailoring do thick cloth etc hands, boots, and forget the sleeves and do yellow/orange leather hands/boots until you get next tier of cloth to orange (hands/boots). => then redo from start until maxed. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
