I've mapped out my spec allocation to get
12 aug at level 14
22 aug at level 25
32 aug at level 36
42 aug at level 44
All so I have cave at a decent level to solo when needed.

I'm approaching 20 soon, so I can respect out of cave and just go more aug if that is what is expected in EXP groups. Although I feel that may kill my conc. Any thoughts?

buffs and especially endu is the reason why shaman get groups in the first place so i would suggest:

12 aug at lvl12
22aug at lvl22
32aug at lvl32
42aug at lvl42

I think you should definatly spec out of cave and into mend/aug.

I specc'd my shaman mend/aug cause i cant handle having ****** heals. friggs is too good. i'll get my end regen a few lvls later then the others to heal better

I'd suggest using your free respecs to tailor your spec to the lvl. Rush to the first endo then start pumping mend. A seer with no healing is a useless brick. Lowlvl grps have issues with keeping people up all the time, and your +5-10 stat point buffs will do nothing to remedy this. Respec at 20 to fit the 20-40 range and at 40 to get your endgame spec in line.
