I thought it might be useful for everyone to start a thread where we can list high utility items for templates. It's hard to look for items on websites due to the whole patch level 1.65.

Bare in mind for armour/weapons it's easy to spellcraft an utility of 55-60 for a qua99 item.

I'll start with an obvious one:

Gem of Spirit Abhorrent, drops from pygmy goblins and danaoin fishermen
4x7% Matter, Heat, Body, Energy

Utility: 52

Class specific but I was a bit surprised about this:

Coif of Murky Secrets (Reaver Epic quest)
Piety 16
Thrust 8%
Body 8%
Flex 6pts

Utility: 72

All epic quests give awesome cloaks with high utility value at 45. Also the level 43 epic quest gives nice ring aswell.

Is there anything almost mandatory for a good template like the midgardian "band of ice" here on Alb?

Goblin Gem, Epic Cloak/Ring, Secret Orders for Tanks/Supps.

Good rings/belts/neck for casters are pretty rare. Most of your stuff will need to come from DF.

Anyone got the stats for the cab epic cloak?

Really interested in Dartmoor/Lyn Drops, anyone have any info?

Cloak of earth from moran = 8 thrust/slash/crush 16 hits
Stonecrush named bracers = 30 con/dex/qui/int, 6 body/matter/cold, 16-24 hits
moran ring = 9 str/qui, 9 cold/spirit..but spirit is basically a dead resist on alb
veiled eyes bracer (secret orders(swanton keep) = 8 cold/spirit/body 15 hits..but again spirit

Im pretty sure this is wrong..probably from the new update to epic, but will confirm when i actually get help to finish it

Some items just don't have many options for high utility- like cloaks, rings, and bracers. One of the best cloaks (Icy Vigor) is dropped on the Midgard side of the frontier dungeon and only has 50 utility. Some of the best rings/bracers are from DF chancellors/legion and dragon.

To me it's not worth seeking out these hard to find raid items if they're only going to offer 5-10 more utility than an easy to get drop. It depends on your class though. Some classes can get near cap stats without much effort (MP cloth is so cheap).

-For those min/maxxers- you can search each slot on allakazham and add up the utility of each item. Just note that some drops are unavailable on Uthgard, even though many will be marked as SI or ToA some are from catacombs and are not marked. http://camelot.allakhazam.com/dyn/items ... index.html

Also, I hear that RnG loot can have pretty high utility though finding something useful and isn't a crossbow may be hard.

I agree, many DF merchant diamond items are actually pretty high utility (around 36-50). I'm going to buy at least 4 items for my template from there.

I'm fairly sure it drops here. I remember trying to get the bracer on Uth 1.0 but on my 2 attempts it didn't drop. The worm is fairly easy, the hard part is getting DF open for more than an hour. Roll you over the Mids will, hmmhmm.
