Is the craftbar tool which is very useful for spellcrafters also evaluated as third party tool?
This tool can be found in this Forum, for ppls who dont know what it is. It places gems on the ui quickbars which makes it a lot easier to spellcraft items.

I dont see why it would. you arent automating anything. you are just playing from a phone rather than a PC. that would be like banning someone for using a laptop if they normally use a desktop.

Its clear in the statement bro. Very clear. You can put ur camp away from the bg tho and pull to there. Im sure the bg wont interfere if u are not in range with the shrooms : )

The launcher looks at running programs .... note looks at running programs. I Run CE to mod nwn2 characters and it was open (not inserting anything to the game).... boom banned. The mods don't ban for actual cheating, just looks snoops through your system at start up.... pretty scummy.

5.The usage of cheats, hacks, or other third party tools is forbidden. This includes radar tools, speed hacks; fly hacks, macro tools, auto clickers, level bots and sniffer tools.

The USAGE. Key word right there. I imagine that the usage refers to connection with UTHGARD and not in general. So if I cheat in fifa I get banned in Uthgard. Makes sense. Also if you are unable to figure out if 3d party tools on a persons pc are used for uthgard or not, why not make it clear? Make an anouncement on forums or send personal warning. You continue to slander people while providing 0 evidence.

They don't need to do any of the sort. You're not paying for a product/service. They can ban you just cause your account name irritates them. lol

Uthgard 1.0 had a publicly viewable ban thread. I know you've said you don't discuss bans publicly, but I really think you should bring that back. Showing that you're banning people, complete with names and reasons, will prevent others from cheating or running multiple accounts. Just my two cents.

Either way, keep up the awesome work!

Have you ever seen a ban forum on an offical server in any game?

I agree 100% with that. But its also something that makes me loose interest in a game even if its classic DAoC.

Thats also true, but this dosent concern isolated ban incidents. We are talking about a specific policy which has to do with the ownership of programs that can potentialy be used for cheating on Uthgard even if the user never tried that. In all my years of online gaming, this is a first for me.

Small appendix:

Housing crafting merchants
We have decided to implement the crafting merchants in housing, however to avoid the cities being abandoned, and to ensure that there is a large incentive to be active in RvR, we have decided to only implement the merchants that are currently available in the cities. (This means the highest tiers of crafting materials are still only available in relic keeps and the outer crafting keeps for each realm except for alchemy and spellcrafting).

- We want to remind players that this change will remove most of the time consumption for doing RvR as it will be possible to buy and craft all potions in houses.
Got any questions? Submit them to me and I will try to get them answered in our grab bag !

Wait so 800+ materials for base trade skills can still only be bought at relic keeps? So this is a custom change and is not like 1.65? Am i mistaken?
