Hi, just a short question: is it possible to change your first name in the game? (i'm willing to pay BP / cash / seals / ...) because I dont wanna restart my char but I'm not very happy with my name

I guess it's very hard. Gm's should delete and make again your character or maybe change your name from console

Changing a name is possible, but we usually do not do this for several reasons:

- You are playing a roleplaying game and you can not suddenly change your RL name either
- Players know you with your current name and might be confused
- Namechange can cause severe problems in the database
- Namechanges will reject many settings for your character

If you have a real good reason you have the chance of getting your name changed, but if it is just a "i don't like my name anymore"-reason, you will have to live with it, sorry. And i mean a really good reason!

If you do so the char will just get jailed forever

Characters with bad names will get deleted or stay in jail forever. There is no chance for a rename. You have to know the rules when you are playing here.
