Hi all

Thanks for checking out this post! We are a Mid/Prydwen and then Mid/Uth v1 guild thats back again for more DAoC goodness. We've been tempted by the green this time around and are looking for more players to help us level and enjoy DAoC together.

Our guild goals? Enjoy the game. This means a friendly (non-elite) playing environment - to chat and play. Here's the guild application blurb from our forum:

We are relaxed guild of DAoC players. We do not expect you to play any particular way or push upon you to do things to a schedule or order you about. If you want to solo, great, go ahead. If you want to group, great, ask if anyone has a group going or get one going.

Either way, enjoy the Guild (friendly) banter/chatter and play the game we all love and (lets be honest here) are addicted to.


Q: Does this mean we won't RvR?
Of course we will - thats the best part of the game!

Q: Are we noobs?
Most of our members have been playing the game since it was released but I'd definitely say we are not elite either.

Q: Does it mean we will do raids or join a decent alliance?
Yes, we absolutely will do this. Although everyone's current priority is leveling, crafting and gearing up.


What classes/who are we recruiting
Bring all your alts and all players/classes are welcome. Particularly looking for more EU timezone players as our US timezone players are beginning to take over. US players also still welcome of course!

This sounds great! I have wanted to play this server as I have MANY years of DAOC under my belt, but live game is not the same... but the elitism on this server scared me off. Now that I see you guys are around I am going to jump in and try to find you guys tonight.

If you are wondering about how active we are? We are starting to keep activity for longer periods throughout the day, thanks to players spanning timezones now, but usually we peak at 15-20 non-anon members (at late EU peak and early US peak time) in /social.

Look for the purple cloaks!

Hello again - I'm Inq - the GM of Expedient Demise. I'm giving this thread another bump, rather than create a new one. We are still a very active guild and are looking for new members.

I think now more than ever with the population taking a dip that it's even more important that you join an active guild.


Q: Are you in a low activity guild?
Yes - but I don't wish to leave it. Understood, chat with your guild mates and see what the consensus is. I don't wish to shut down other guilds but having inactive guilds helps nobody. If you are a GM of a guild like this, create a lvl1 char and leave it parked as GM, so you can still control Guild houses etc. - then move over your main chars to us.

Q: Are you still in the starter guild?
What why? Now the server is quieter, an active guild (particularly in an alliance), will be much more fun and give you more chat/groups/gear etc. than you will get in the starter guild.

Q: Are you unhappy in your guild?
Ok - I'd rather you tried to work out why and what the issues are first. Please respect and work with your existing guild leaders first. If this doesn't help OR if you are unhappy for other reasons, like this has come from a conflict of interest about how you play, then perhaps you should consider moving on. Say your farewells and come join us.

Q: Have you left the game but still troll the forums?
Well this could be for a number of reasons but if it's down to a general discontent, perhaps the style of our guild may inject some new life in to the game for you. Please check us out.


Further details
Since my original post, we are now part of the Syndicate Alliance (that we helped form) and work with our allies often. We particpate in RvR and I have created a structure that allows members in the guild to *opt in* to flag themselves as available and ready to move to RvR, if the guild calls for it. At the same time, others can choose to remain more casual in their play style - so we can offer a nice environment for you to play in exactly the way you want and still have RvR Focus (if you want it).
