Nobody knew the relic keep was being attacked. Our alliance didnt even hear about it until Mids were on the 3rd door.

As soon as the doors are attacked, there is a realm wide message to let everybody know. Maybe your alliance should start reading the combat log.

Isn't it when a guard is killed, not when the doors are attacked?

I remember it being a strategy back in the day to kite the guards as far away as you could without killing them to squeeze out more time before the enemy realm was aware of an attack.

It doesn't matter Bobb because we were killing guards before putting rams on the door. Some people ignored the message. Some did react but it was too few and too late.

I'm aware of that. I'm just wondering if the way I remember the message working is how it actually works.

5. Sounds like someone needs a tissue.

I really don't care either way about what tactics the mids did or didn't use, but suggesting that albs should just stay logged out at the relic keep all the time still makes you look like an ass to me.

Then don't whine when you lose a relic because you were caught by surprise.

Here on Uthgard you will propagate the message if someone even shoots an arrow into a RK door. Which Is often done by ganker groups to encourage some lowbies to rush out to examine the RK. Of course they sometimes get some higher levels coming out too and melt away.

There was actually several hints at the RR in IRC during the server reboot.

Albs are to blame because they split up some Alliances. Now all information is split...
Hope GMs are fine with what they have stated, that they are fine with just 80 people (300ppl was Trishin Statement long time ago) playing the game under their vision.
Its important to leave this server running doesn't matter how low the numbers will be. The other servers can fail but Uthgard still will be there, thats Uthgards only chance.

Edit 19/09/21: Well Uthgards chance has come.

There are two types of messages to alert players about relic keeps:

- "Relic keep is under siege" - global message if a door gets touched by an enemy player.
- Keep guard at relic keep being killed - message for guild that claimed the keep only.

First message is a single line of text and can easily be missed while in combat. A single keep being taken gets spammed three times, not sure why anything relic related is only spammed once and not 10 times at least.

Messages about keep guards getting killed is pretty hard to miss, but somebody in the guild has to be logged in the game tho...
