Never ever limit yourself to only one poison. You got to swap poisons!
Str/Con is a must vs. all melee classes and archers Dot is a must vs. all classes and can also be used as some kind of dam add. Disease if your target has selfheals, a healing class is near or can easily use First Aid Snare against classes that may use CC to kite you / run away Magic Poisons situational against tough melee classes (for example, Endu Poison vs Slam User). Yeah I get that, my issue is
-I can't really afford to make multiple weapons with the same SC gems at the moment - How can you quickly change weapons without losing major dps? The one on your back is easy but any weapons from your bag will turn attack off. Also, does snare poison break if we attack? Sword of the Dragon

No. You don't lose dps at least not after some days of training. The good ones even switch at capped swing speed while moving and styling without losing dps.
As soon as you see your style going off, switch to new weapon and press new style immediately. With good timing you will not lose anything. Yeah switching weapons makes a temp really expensive. But it also is a huge increasement in power. Snare poison does not break on attack. If your target is running away and you are in attack range use snow shower from Celtic dual line as snare. If you're not in rear position and want to use snare you have garrote. Snare poison always comes into play, if you want permanent snare on your target without spaming Garrote. Elvis, Nightshade
