So I'm close to 50 and already have some RA points. However other than purge, I can't remember what else to get for a druid. Sure Dex increases and what not, but I can't recall the really important RA's that a druid should be looking for. Still searching through the internet for suggestions but I'd like to know from the community here, What RA's are required for a druid?

Heya Bubbler,
I was wondering the same a few weeks back, and starting googling some topics to hopefully find some old forum posts. Searching "Must have druid realm abilities", I came across one @ Freddys House from 2004 (a few months post-launch of ToA, some time around 1.68) that still seemed at least somewhat relevant, as the OP was asking the same question;
I'm unable to post a link yet, but if you search the phrase I used above, it should be like the 2nd non-ad listing on the results. A few others that could be added to the list are Serenity, and Wild Healing, both with Aug Aquity prereqs. For my own Druid, I was fortunate enough to pick up 1L3 from a few "last stand" situations in DF in my mid 30's, and went for MCL1 right away - It may not be the most important, but it certainly helped during the leveling process FWIW. acu3 also opens up MoArts (cast speed) and MoArcane (buff bonus). purge, gp are the most important breakpoints.

When I played druid I went almost exclusively for active ability RAs. MCL 2, gp, purge, raging power, moc. getting those will take you to a pretty high rr.

These are my recommended RA's in order
1 - mcl 2 - group purge 3 - aug acuity 3 4 - mastery of concentration 5 - mcl 2 6 - raging power 7 - purge 8 - toughness 9 - aug dex 10 - avoidance of magic 1 11 - wild healing ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are the recommeded ras if you have problems with rupt. Note though, that rupt will mostly occur because of bad Position.
In addition, if you fight skilled enemys, you will eat a Stun or mezz evry time you moc. Therefore purge before moc. My suggestion: Mcl2 Gpurge Purge Raging Power Moc Passives like wild healing |

I'm not 50 yet so I went MCL 1 and 2 for PVE to 50. So useful. I'm only 1L9 at the moment. My next purchase will be Group Purge.

I really suggest an early point in Wild Healing - being able to crit on a heal is extremely beneficial for only 1 point.

Not really. If you can free heal, your target lives. 99% of the cases.
That one point is just for the -omg lol i a so great i healed so much - Effekt |

I don't agree at all.
If you are free healing, I don't think it really matters. In a situation where you are kiting, only able to cast 1 heal when you really need 2 or 3 it could save someones life, or out of power and you're last spell tops someone off instead of them going down in the next hit. It also works on spreadheals, so you have an opportunity to crit-heal your entire team to almost full health in 1 cast instead of 2 or 3. |

In those described situations, you are imho in 99.9 % of all cases better off speccing those points 1 realm rank earlier into an ability that gives you more mana (not serenity!)or helps your positioning like purge or gives you an aditional inst heal like battery
