Anyway, it's respect you say? Respect that is only given to the people that fit into your mentality. 8man groups will roll over soloers / smallmans / expers and then go on the forum and talk about fair fights, like it means anything. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's not the winning groups that go whining about "jamming", "vulturing", "swooping" and "adds". It's the ****** players that think they got game.

If 8man groups only fought other 8man groups instead of playing for points, then you'd have a point. But they don't.

No it aint..cause most here want just rps and RR in a race for i dont know what being a rr10 cause u play 24/7 doesnt make you good btw . I play for fun and yes i want 8 vs 8 or 8 vs 10 if posible or more enemies , i find no satisfacton in kiling 2 with fg .. i had enough high RR s and my aim is to purely have fun and win even being an underdog ..now thats satisfaction !

Except the people that are adding have likely been steam rolled by that group you are fighting 100 times + so you can kindly "f off"

rvr is so packed that it's hard to get "clean" fights without getting added or vultured. I think this is still a good thing. I ran around low pop servers for a long time and i would 100% have the level of action Uthgard has over having to roam 30min to find 1 "clean" fight.

the fact is the frontiers are just too packed to get upset about adds. they're gonna happen. ppl will learn what guilds respect fights and which ones don't really quickly and the problem will work itself out when some guilds stop running cuz they're tired of getting assjammed and can't figure out why.

all of my great moments of daoc...not one of them involved a 1v1 or a 8v8...I was always out numbered, and things happened that shouldn't have happened or a couple of things kept working out to where 8 gusy killed 3fg with 3 more fg adding in...or 5-16 and winning or 2 v 8 with everyone being rr6 plus... Anyways, you guys have your good fights, but they will never be great moments of daocs, they will just be average/good fights.

So yes, keep adding on fights, yes keep playing the game how you want to play it.

Frankly, people who end up upset by having 8v8 fights interfered with are on the wrong server.

Also, that attitude is simply poison for the retention of healthy player numbers.

If all fights would be pure 8v8 or 2v2 or 1v1 ... the game would become boring and tedious (is that the same thing?) more quickly. I welcome the chance of fighting adds, sometimes having an advantage, sometimes having a disadvantage. It ads to the excitement, it diversifies rvr. For me personally that is.
