How badly are Druids needed in RvR? (Or what is?)

Considering leveling a Druid as a zerg/PUG 8v8 toon, and possibly hooking up with a serious 8man down the road. I have a fair amount of classic 8v8 experience and I'm not interested in having alts... but I don't wanna be constantly sitting around LFG if Druids aren't all that needed. Is something else substantially more in demand? Thoughts?

Every remotely well thought out RvR group needs 2 druids...That should be enough info to help you make a decision.

Yes, I am familiar with RvR group setups... but that doesn't mean that there aren't already enough Druids to fill the 2 slots in most groups. |

We have a lot of druids right now. If you sit in Druim Ligen, you'll see them LFG all the time. Right now groups are generally looking for bards.

Most of the time I can see a lot of people spamming lf druid for small man/ 8v8.
If you want to play a druid, you shoudn't have a problem finding a group. Considering the time it will take you to level up everything can be totally different so just play what you want to. IRC: 09.01.2013(15:16:36) Dotto: we zerg if other realm zerg in rvr,, we never start zerg thats all! |

Druids and Bards were both very popular while levelling the first bigger wave....luckily you still see many druids around, out of primetime there is sometimes even a lack of druids for pvp...during primetime there seem rather plenty.
Bards are always needed though, i get the impression most were rolled as PvE Bards for farming and because you can half afk while lvling or sth like that ![]() Or people dont like the responsibility of a bard in PvP... |

As a bard I often log in and get multiple invites or lfgs instantly.
I also wind up leaving some groups on account of how terrible some people are, which brings me to my next point.... Play what you enjoy and excel at. You will get more groups on a class you can play better. Often I will invite or never invite someone again based on how they play the first time I pug them. Semi-Quit~ WTB QoL

I complete understand this mentality but it's sad to hear. I know no one wants to waste their time but wouldn't it be better to help people improve rather than just never group them again? I know, the mentality is, why should I waste my time on some random person especially when there is a 50/50 chance that they may or may not listen. Just sucks since most likely, someone who stops getting groups will just end up leaving the game instead of learning their class. Especially since RvR roles can be very different from PvE roles. <Blood Feud>

More often then not the people that don't know what they're doing by now are just stubborn mental midgets |
