Hi albion Fellow

Some days ago I asked people overall sentiment regarding uthgard with some advice and the thread took an unexpected trajectory blaming albion and midgard easymode,
After spending time reading the forum, there is a huge amount of people whining about albion pve, so I would like to know the other side (if it's exist) how good is it ?

I have to admit that it's scare me to see necro everywhere camping spot

FYI I'm going to do a friar for soloing and currently I live in Montreal

If you are planning on soloing on a friar you don't have to worry about necros. People are 95% complaining about Lyonesse, and specifically camps that are not good for a solo Friar anyway.

Yeah you should be just fine on a friar. Right now there are very few 8 mans too so friars will still get invites to rvr the majority of time. They are not ideal in a set 8 man but still can do well in pugs and small man/solo rvr. A plus side is they are probably the 2nd or 3rd best farming toon on alb. Play what you enjoy! Welcome to alb :)

I am 50 since quite a while now, so don't know how the metagame has changed since then.
When I was levelling ( Theurg / Earth) there were a lot of other theurgs around, so asking in /asend or /b "Theurg lfg" was not exactly enough to get a group at all. The solution was aggressively inviting people that might be useful for your grp. And of course giving them a /send first ;) Once i started doing that, I made a lot of nice contacts in Albion.

In other threads people talk about getting swamped with invites playing hib or mid. I cannot verify how true these claims are.

But if you are willing to organize your groups a bit for yourself, then you will have a lot of fun in albion I think.
It WILL happen that a necro or cabby tries to haunt your grp away from a given spot via aggressive pulling. Being a calm and rational person helps in these situations.

also the friar is a great class for solo and grp pve, since Theurg/cleric/Sorc/5 MDPS is a common setup in alb.

Hope you have some fun :)

Sometimes, i don't understand the players...

Have a sight necro and a group with a servant necro on same spot. They fight for the spot and go up to ask a GM to resolve an xp issue situation (he kills my mobs, blabla...).

Why don't take the sight in the group to xp together and spare mana to have quicker xp ?

I am cleric, sometimes solo at Danaouins house in Lyonesse and i see that sometimes, some players seems to forget that it's a game.

When i see some people that go up to insult other players for a spot, i feel really sad for them. Why they connect on the game ?

Whaaaaa, it's my spot, i was here the first !!!

And ? is it your own game ?
