Anyone finished the Hib enchanter epic line?

Stuck on a step around level 20 for Seeking The Moonstone. Journal I am supposed to talk to some old crone but she does not say anything I can respond to.

Yes, it WAS working, because some enchs have their set. But since #3270 The Moonstone Twin epic quest lv. 45 step 8 was fixed (no day steeds & Cadoc spawn) a few hours ago, now the Darkmare won't spawn... I'm now 47 and still struggling for the 3rd day on this 45th step, waiting for instructions or fix, because despite having camped the spawn or roamed along the river alone or with grp, we didn't see any Darkmare, only dark steeds. We also killed the 2 sets of steeds and even one time Cadoc himself, nothing helped. But i was told everything is fine, so... (wonder why i didn't see any respawn then in 9 nights there...

OK, I just wonder if something else is broken now or if I am just missing something. Maybe someone who has done it can confirm this step. Early on around level 20 you have to do something for Maeve the old crone. You end up getting a wand and returning it to a guy. The next step in the journal says return to maeve the crone. When you do that and talk to her she just responds with something like "go away I'm looking for something" and there does not seem to be any way to interact any further.

it worked for sure, i have the epic, but a lot of people are having problems with day spawn lvl 45 quest.
To talk to the old crone, you should do tracker side quest from mm.

Both day steeds (and Cadoc) as well as the Darkmare have been fixed. Could do the step today. =)
Weird thing tho : on Allhakazam, there is a 47th step, but i was talking to Brigid as told in the journal and she said i'm no strong enough... /cry (i am 47 -.-). Don't know if this is normal or not. /shrug

After some days I could finish the step too yesterday, so fixed for me as well. My chanter is 50 so can't comment on the level 47 part.

Make sure that you've completed the Criostoin's Promise quest and that you have Fagan's ring equipped.

Also be aware that :

Official hint (from Camelot Herald):
Players on step 5 that can't get the NPC(s) to respond need to /say [Fagan's Signet], be at least level 20, be wearing the signet and have completed the quest Merle's Informant.

Iirc, i had troubles too during the epic process, as some of the steps weren't matching the official ones (as described for this version on allakhazam) and sometimes mixed up (had to do some ns/champ steps instead of ench's ones for example).

My advice is to keep an eye on Allakhazam walkthrough, but ALSO on Valmer's (you can let your browser translate it for you) which is quiet a goldmine regarding informations for classic daoc.

Return to her in a few levels to get the next step

Yea, it is a level issue although it is not real clear. I think you need to go back around lev 30 or so and you can proceed.
