It's been a while since I played DAoC and my first time to play Uthgard, so I have a few question.

1) In the past as caster I have been using the range macro, when I make the range macro here I get the msg 'this command only works on objects'.
Is there an other way to create this macro?

2) I am lvl 10 now -I started doing all the beginners quest which provide me with a full armor set, but they turned green and I haven't had any cloth drops so far with stats. Are there specific mobs that drops cloth or do you buy armor at merchents without stats for time being? Or are there other quests outside Mag Mell I can do with rewards?

1.) No, not that i know about. The command was taken out and won't come back. As far as i know it's not live like and so it was removed.

2.) I am not sure about hibernian level spots but even the low level mobs should drop some things. Maybe you won't get a full armor set with stats, but while you level up you should be able to find pieces you can use at your level. If your armor turns green/grey and you do not have a replacement piece, think about buying one from the merchants or just ask kindly if maybe a highlevel char has a piece to give away for free.

There are auctions in your main city you can take a look at. You can ask crafters too to make a good set for you. Your realm mates will kindly help you.

Also there are surely drops that you can use. Try take a look at Allakhazam to find some or keep searching.
