Does it make any sense at all to go sara and spec slash? I d prefer slash over thrust but the high dex seems nice for demezz and 5% heat resist seems nicer than 5% spirit on briton..highlander I really dont want to roll ^^
Any opinions?

Personally, I think Highlander is the best choice.

But if you don't want to go Highlander then Slash is perfectly fine for a Saracan. Your melee damage is going to be super low regardless, missing 10-20 strength is not going to make much difference.

I made same call, and i have AT so i can respec to 44 thrust spec if i want in the future

But wouldn't Briton be the better choice to keep both options open? Because they re a bit more intermediate concerning Dex/str.

Tbh i dont think it matter much at all. But i took the race that i thought would be best choice for a fg minstrel with 44thrust. For stealth duo i never done this But i read i will do most dps with dd's anyway

I am slash on my saracen minstrel.

Works fine. Only time i pull out weapon in solo or in groups really is side style snare. It is very rare I'm ever using weapon for long time periods anyway when flute mez is free to cast and can be used at range.

I don't think the 44 thrust style is worth getting because you give up solo play almost completely to get it. You can try to run around with a pet unstealthed solo but you're just gonna die to a zerg. Easier to solo without a pet believe it or not I've found, so yeah slash makes a lot of sense even on saracen.

It really doesn't matter as a minstrel - the difference concerning race and melee damage is negligible. Pick whichever makes you happiest! In terms of defense, my opinion is that the extra dex/qui on saracen makes up for not having the highlanders extra con.

You speak about demez so you must play in group so why slash? 44 thrust slow is awesome
No big issue to slash Sara spec though.
