*facepalm*
Yes with lvl 10 and without a group the exp is bad. |

That has to be a troll post. lol
With a good group sucking in a lot of XP, that level 10 BD will be level 30 after a few hours. Severian, RR5 Skald

can someone explain to a noob like me how a lowlevel can level in SH really fast? does anyone get invited into groups there?

Ask your friends or your guild to form a group or youcan also ask for a social slot but yeah than u need luck.
As low level you are a leecher and get power leveld by others. If they are not your mates why should they do that? If you dont have a guild or friends than you shoul lvl to 40+ (dd) to help your group making exp before u go to sh. Or ask a 50 to pl you in sh and offer him that u will do the same fir him when your char is high lvl. But than your char should be a good sh class (sm for example). |

ah okay, that's what i thought initially...thanks for clarification
some comments in this thread made it look like anyone could join in without prerequisites and i am wasting time levelling the old way I am totally new to uthgard so i don't have anyone to bother with PL for charity ![]() |

If your guild is willing to do some PL sessions, then SH is probably the best way to level in Uthgard 2.0, if you have the proper group makeup. High level AoE with a Pac healer is the best way to level in SH. So SMs/RMs and Thanes tend to be the most coveted with a PoM 4 or 5 attached to them. If you have a level 50 SM or Thane in your group spamming their AoE over and over on everything, the XP should be pretty good.
The thing about SH is, it's hard to get XP cap on each mob, even though that's usually possible, since the mobs there are such high level. But kills are happening so fast, even if you only get 33-66% of cap on each mob, you're talking about a decent amount of XP, but super fast. To give an idea, I had a good group at level 49 in SH. I started at 1.4 bubs into level 49 at about 10AM and by 4 PM (yes the raids can sometimes last this long), I was level 50. That is pretty shockingly fast. Course I just got lucky getting through level 49. So yeah, luck does play a part in how well SH does for you. Severian, RR5 Skald

6hours permafarm in a fullgrp in the best XP spot is shockingly fast for 8,6bubbs?

You are assuming I was actually invited to a group. I tried asking quite a few times but no one wanted me. I tried forming my own groups but people immediately left once they saw my level. Watched another BD go from 10 to 33 but not me. These SH zergs just seem like a waste of time. I mean whats the point of a PL event if you refuse to invite the people that need it. I watched another group spam an hour and a half looking for another 45+ AoE DPS and would rather leave the spot open than invite someone till they filled it. |

Because they would get less exp. Its not there job to pl you and it isnt a event its a daily possible way to farm exp.

Who ever said SH was a PL event? As the poster above me said, it's a place to raid for XP. It's solely up to you and no one else to get that XP. Sometimes groups will take in a 'social' to give them some free XP, but they are by no means obligated to. It would be out of the kindness of their heart to do that. My experience with SH has been less than pleasurable recently. The Mids in SH raids are mindless and won't even stop to rez any dead. Last time I was in there, my group had a few deaths (because Mids will literally hit a mob once or twice then run onto the next and not actually kill them) and no one in the raid stopped to wait for rezzes. It's sometimes not a pleasant experience to level in SH, but it is without question the fastest way to level with the proper group setup. Severian, RR5 Skald
