I think it is great and those who don't prefer it already have an opt out mechanism.

Non-issue

Jarqo wrote:Howdy,
Maybe make a custom command somethink like:
/killspam ON/OFF, turn on/off kill spam for this character
/killspam zone/region/global, show kill spam message for this character depending of choose

Just my 2 cents.

I love the change. This as jarqo said could help those few who dislike.

I moved the kill spam to another chat tab, or would be impossible to play

Right click on the main chat (or combat chat) window, messages channel : unclick the "Other's Death"
Right click again, New channel, name it Kills or spam or whatever (for when you acutally want to see kills for some reason)
Right click on Kills (or spam for whatever window), messages channel : unclick everything but "Other's Deaht"

Here you go. No spam, nothing.
Just a useful (and discret) Tab hidden either in your main chat window, or combat log window.
Curious of what's happening ? Click the discret Tab and have a look. Wanna chat or look at fight logs ? No spam.

Very easy to make another window. If you don´t know how to - grow, learn new things, continue living.

I am very grateful for the feature, really livens (is this a word?) the server and can know where to go for inc.
Albion <Nothing Special> (ex. <nanana BATMAN>):
Lightning - 6l0 theurg
Voodoopepew - 4l1 arms
Devilmaycare - 3l5 reaver

Hibernia <Rebirth> (ex. <Escape>):
Voodoopewpew - 5l4 animist
Voodoobambam - 3l4 chanter

Please please please keep it.
If it bugs anyone it is easily managed by filtering or creating windows.

Ppl need to take some responsibility for their own experience.

It is a huge help to rvr, and I get a ton of entertainment just seeing where the action is when I am simply exping.

This is a great improvement!

I personally like it. Saves a lot of time from doing /who while doing your job in rvr.

I like it a lot. It really helps the game feel more alive and lets you know where the action is happening.

Its incredibly easy to make another chat tab and put the deathspam on that.

Agreed , you basicly have cut the nice part of not knowing where enemy is ... If i m in Emain i dont want to see killspam from Castle sauvage, or Odins ..

I dont want to create another tab for killspam because i want to see what is where, but its spam whats happening right now .

Keep kill spam as it is of today, with spam from all zones if you are out in the frontiers. Makes the server feel more alive and busy, even at slow NA times. Definitely a positive server change.

I wish they would remove it so people can't see when my group gets killed back-to-back-to-back by the elites :(

Just kidding, spam is awesome. It is often the reason that groups decide to keep on playing during Late Night NA (frontier seems empty, maybe all enemies are asleep? Ohh wait killspam in Odin's let's go see)

Please keep it, those that don't want it can turn it off.

If you turn it off completely, those that want it have no option to turn it back on. It's a very simple change for those that don't want it, and I would bet 100g that the person requesting the change has ulterior motives like not being targeted as a stealther or something.
