I have a total of 1 gold piece scraped together and things are grim Can any of you guys help a budding BM with some hand-me-down weapons / armour? I have thus far found the drop rates really rather low as well, unless I am not looking in the right places? As the thread says, any help is greatly appreciated.

I appreciate that I could PL it up with the service you provide (which is excellent by the way and good on you for doing it ) however that would just leave me with a lv 20 or 30 toon with gray stuff I know that low drop rates have been disputed in other threads, however I spent 10 lvs in Muire on another toon and found very little of use and 3 lvs thus far in Spraggon and its the same story. Luck, or lack of it - who knows.
