and as i said originally, this was NOT a QQ Thread, just a comparison!

ok, 50% miss chance sounds a little high to me.
Since this is not a QQ thread and certainly not an exaggeration can you provide logs for said 50% miss chance on a scout please?

Disclaimer: This is not a lecture post, just a question!

I opened up a tracker about slam being missed VS high buffed targets ( maybe WS high) but ..this myth = if a target has high WS it should block or parry better ..thats was tested ages ago and its just a myth.

https://www2.uthgard.net/tracker/issue/ ... u_to_miss_

I ve closed it because no one cares.. yet its true ..missed 2 slams in a row when slaming a buffed grped enemy and i was unbufed.

Pet classes are tough for any archer. Unless you can get the kill before the pet gets to you death is imminent.

If you are going to attack a pet class be prepared to win or die. There is no retreat.

I played a scout and ranger during Beta and yea, seemed like the scout did a bit worse. Interestingly, back in the 1.65 days, scouts were considered the best of the archer class.

My gut feeling is that scouts gained the most benefit from buffbots...and back then, every top scout had one.

That is probably why archers in general feel under powered in endgame rvr. They were adjusted around 1.65 probably taking into account buffbots. Now that they are not available, archers are a bit weak.

Archers on this server, specifically scouts, are LAUGHABLY weak and under powered all but a slim few situations.

Actually scouts got the highest bow damage and highest range of all archers since they got access to slower bows.
Are there any decent scouts out running dex/qui charge + base dex pots or do they still complain about unbuffed damage?
Unbuffed low RR scouts critshot leather armor for 600+ dmg, just add +95 dex from buff charge/pot and they will deal arround 800 dmg with critshot.

Edit:

Unbuffed scout critshot damage against mid leather, i think Quore was rr2 or maybe rr3 at this point. A high RR scout with dex/qui charge + base dex pot will probably kill assasins with 2 critshots.

Quore did good damage because he goes for the legs.

You clearly don't play Alb. Hardly any melee on this realm, and almost no paladins.

I used to go to the frontier to hunt scouts too, then I took an arrow in the knee...
