Forming a guild?

Last night I was trying to form a guild with my friends (yes, we were 8, all in the right place and unguilded), but it just wouldn't work. Every time I tried the '/gc form <name>' command, an error message saying something about how it may only contain letters from A-Z, a-z kept popping up. I tried out of desparation just entering random things but none of them flew.
Is there some sort of special method I need to use to make my guild? |

Maybe you should tell us the actual name you were trying to use.

Alright. Started out trying "Duchy of Wessex", then moved on to stuff like "duchy of wessex", "Duchy", "Wessex", "duchy", "wessex", "DoW", "help". That sort of stuff.

Should work with next reboot.

Just out of curiosity... I know Endiku fixed something... but...
Were you actually using quotes? I've noticed when I formed Dark Hibernian Legion, I typed... /gc form "Dark Hibernian Legion" |
|
Come to think of it I probably tried everything but quotes ([{<>}]). Stupid me, eh?

Well if you were always using those characters, then yeah, it was pretty stupid. For quick-training, and so on so forth on Free-Shards, quotations are your best friend.

As Endiku said, guild creation schould be working again. Just a side note: Even if he tried without the qoutes he wouldn't have triggered the "it may only contain letters from A-Z, a-z" message. He most probably would have simply created guild "Duchy" instead...
Happy hunting!
